Dr. Nilsana Charkhandeh is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Doctor of Philosophy from the University Putra Malaysia, with her credentials recognized by the University of Toronto. She brings a thoughtful and compassionate approach to her work, blending psychological expertise with mindfulness and a touch of spirituality to support healing, emotional balance, and meaningful human connection.A key focus of Dr. Nilsana’s work is supporting individuals and families navigating trauma and the lasting impacts of victim experiences. She brings a trauma-informed, compassionate lens to her work with clients who have experienced abuse, relational harm, or significant life disruptions. She is deeply committed to helping clients rebuild a sense of safety, process complex emotions, and restore trust within themselves and in their relationships. Dr. Nilsana also provides meaningful support for family systems and relationships, helping clients strengthen communication, repair connection, and foster healthier, more supportive dynamics.
Clients working with Dr. Nilsana can expect to gain clarity, develop practical tools, and experience meaningful progress in their emotional well-being and daily life. She works with individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including addictions, ADHD, adoption-related challenges, antisocial and narcissistic personality traits, autism, domestic abuse, eating disorders, LGBTQ+ concerns, parenting, s*x therapy, and trauma.
