Please join us in congratulating Tara Black on an incredible 25 years of dedicated service at CBI Health!

Tara began her journey as a frontline Kinesiologist at the Brantford General Hospital clinic before it merged with CBI Health in 2004. Since then, she’s worn many hats, from leading clinical teams to mentoring clinicians and shaping education across our network.

She’s known not only for her expertise, but also for her kindness, consistency, and contagious positivity. Whether it’s guiding new team members, supporting peers through QA, or lending a thoughtful word when it’s needed most - Tara leads with care.

Tara, thank you for your unwavering commitment, leadership, and heart. We’re so lucky to have you as part of the CBI Health family.

In celebration of , we’re proud to highlight Steve Bath — a dedicated member of our DEI Committee and Employee Resource Group (ERG) at CBI Health. 🌈

Steve is a passionate advocate for safe, inclusive spaces for all team members. “The DEI Committee and our ERGs were created to ensure safe spaces for our staff,” he shares. “One of my personal goals is to continue to assist and advocate in this regard.”

Today marks the first day of and we honour the CBI Health Kinesiologists who change lives every day, like Chris Dobson.

Chris supported clients at CBI Health Greenbank (Nepean, ON) for over 20 years. He was more than a Kinesiologist, he was a teacher, mentor, and leader who traveled across Canada and even to New Zealand to train others in Functional Capacity Evaluation and occupational rehab.

Chris was diagnosed with ALS at age 47. Though his disease progressed quickly, he continued to show up with courage and humour, always lifting the spirits of clients and colleagues alike. He passed just 8 months later, but his legacy lives on.

Each year, the CBI Health Greenbank team walks in the local ALS walk in his honour. This year, they walk again as the “CBI Health Rehab Rangers.”

Thank you to Chris, and to all our Kins who live our values and make a difference, this week and every week. 💙
