Subject: Important Update on Donations
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone in the community who has generously offered physical donations to support our residents, in the past. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and willingness to help are truly appreciated and reflect the strong spirit of care within our community.
At this time, however, we are unable to accept physical donations. Due to infection control protocols, safety considerations, and limited storage capacity, we must ensure that all items entering our facility meet strict guidelines that we are currently not able to accommodate.
In addition, we kindly ask for your understanding that when a resident no longer resides within our facilities, their personal belongings must be collected by family members or designated contacts. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept or redistribute these items as donations. This includes clothing, chairs, wheelchairs, walkers, etc. If you are unable to collect your loved ones things, please reach out to our team.
Our Recreation Department may be able to accept certain items intended specifically for recreational activities. However, all such donations must be pre-approved. We kindly ask that you contact our Recreation Departments in advance to discuss the item(s) and receive approval prior to dropping anything off, to ensure infection control processes are met and we have adequate storage.
While we regret any inconvenience this may cause, these measures are necessary to protect the health and safety of our residents.
