The Town of Clarenville and the Family Care Team are teaming up to support our residents in getting active during the month of June, as we strive to become Canada's Most Active Community in the Participaction Community Challenge!

Physiotherapist Leanne Barnes- Chippett will be at the Bill Davis Chalet/Elizabeth Swan Park every Monday in June to help guide you to starting your very own walking program🚶.

Leanne will be there to answer any questions you may have regarding footwear, the right distance and speed for you, and much more. Activator poles will be available to try, with instruct from Leanne, AND the poles are also available to rent at the Clarenville Events Centre.

Pre-registration is required to ensure appropriate materials are prepared.

Starting Monday, June 2, the publicly funded shingles vaccine, pneumonia vaccine, MMR and tetanus vaccine will be available at Shoppers Drug Mart. There is no cost to you. You can book your appointment online at shoppersdrugmart.ca or call SDM if you have any questions at 466-3271.

FLU SHOT CLINIC

We are currently accepting appointments for flu shot clinics for our patients only!

Clinics are:
October 27 - 8:00 am - 12 noon
November 2 - 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Please call the office at 709-466-1095 to schedule an appointment. Flu shots will only be given at flu shot clinics and not during regular office appointments.
