“The Crewe Clinic”

With the addition of more physicians over the past few years, we have decided to start fresh with a new name and logo. It was important when choosing our name and logo to make sure that it reflected our goals of community building and humanity in medicine. We can’t think of a better way to do this than by honouring a great mentor and friend, Dr. Harold Crewe, who embodied these principles. Our logo, designed by Rebecca Rees, holds his name, as well as the ocean and the hills, where he and so many of our community members spend their time. We look forward to many years of caring for our community while holding these principles close to our hearts.

Extending Congratulations this week to our newest Memorial University Family Medicine resident graduate, Dr. Kelly Mitchelmore. We have thoroughly enjoyed having her at the clinic over the past year, and thrilled to announce that she has chosen to practice in Clarenville and will be joining our team. We are so lucky to have you! Welcome, Dr. Mitchelmore!

We’d like to extend congratulations today to

We would like to congratulate Dr. Carmen Grinton on finishing her family medicine residency! For those of you who had the opportunity to meet her this year, we know you will agree just how special she is. Our community successfully recruited her to join our practice this past December, but unfortunately she did not receive an offer from the NL Dept of Health until 6 months later on June 10, 2022. Carmen we wish you all the best as you start your practice in PEI - they are very lucky to have you!

Attention CMC Patients: A few of our patients are still having difficulty getting through to our clinic on our phone line. We are unsure why this is happening but are continuing to work with Telus to try to find a solution. If you are unable to reach us on our clinic number, please try 1-877-578-8721 for the time being. We apologize for all the difficulty over the past couple of weeks and are hoping that Telus will be able to fix this issue soon. Thanks for your patience with all of us during this difficult time.

Attention CMC patients: We are currently updating our phone system to be able to have better contact with our patients.
