municipalities meet to discuss water news stories https://share.google/WYVfwh8LgHach9Ysl
Paul and I were invited to a lovely couple's home.
It was on the local news, and they were talking about water shortages and poor quality.
🚰I think we all know that water is extremely important for life.
It regulates body temperature, transports nutrients and oxygen, eliminates waste, maintains cells, produces digestive juices, lubricates joints, strengthens the immune system, supports the skin, and supports every vital function in the body.
Health effects of dehydration include:
✖ Dry mouth and throat, loss of appetite, headache, drowsiness, and weakness.
✖✖ Muscle cramps, circulatory failure, kidney failure, loss of consciousness, and death.
✖✖✖ Chronic water deficiency increases the risk of heatstroke, cerebral infarction, and myocardial infarction, and can lead to poor circulation and the buildup of waste.
The first thing that surprised me when I came to Newfoundland was the fact that not only the elderly but also young people are dying from cancer and various diseases. People who smoke, too. What about their diet? What about their physical, mental, and emotional health? Even if you go to the hospital for an emergency, it's normal to have to wait a long time. So what would you do? It really made me think.
