☝🏻IMPORTANT REMINDER
🚨If you are covered under the Canadian Dental Care (CDCP) you must renew your eligibility for the 2026–2027 benefit year.🚨
Renewals for CDCP members are now open until June 1st, 2026.
Your existing CDCP coverage remains valid until June 30, 2026, even if you have not yet renewed (as long as you are still eligible)
You will receive a communication (letter or email notification based on your preferred method of communication) from the Government of Canada with instructions on how and when to complete your renewal.
Contrary to the last benefit year (2025-2026), a potential change in co-payment would only apply as of July 1, 2026, for the new benefit year (2026-2027) for all CDCP members, should you renew on time.
The current CDCP benefit year ends June 30, 2026, with the new benefit year beginning July 1, 2026.
Renewal period begins: April 15, 2026.
If you do not renew by June 1, 2026, your coverage will terminate on June 30, 2026.
If you renew late you may experience a gap in coverage, and services rendered during a gap will not be covered or paid retroactively, even if a preauthorization exists.
If you remain eligible you may also experience changes in the co-payment levels beginning July 1, 2026, depending on your updated income assessment.
