Hey Gangsters and Flappers!
Our Casino Royale Fall Fundraiser Gala is less than 2 weeks away!

Our Fun Money casino tables will be open for 3 hours and you will receive a $1000 voucher to start your playing off! Need more? Play Plinko and receive more fun money. There will be items to bid on with your fun money too.

If gambling isn't your think, don't worry! You can still use your voucher to bid on items and then dance the night away! There will be some great photo op spots too....including this sweet ride (currently in the shop being built).

MOVEMBER COMPETITION!!

The time is quickly approaching!! We have 9 men who are excited to see what the month of November has in store for their moustache growing abilities!

Each competitor will be cleanly shaved starting November 1st. We will post their pictures on this page, and they will also proudly be on display on the window at the Claresholm Local Press! Each week we will have an updated picture of their progress. On December 1st, at 5PM, the winner will be announced!!

How is the winner determined??
That is up to you! Stop into the Local Press, beginning November 3rd, make a donation to the Claresholm & District Health Foundation and cast your vote - who has the best or who you think will grow the best moustache. A tax receipt will be available, and your donation amount is completely up to you! Most votes win!
Every dollar makes a difference, and all funds stay right here in Claresholm!!

Meet your COMPETITORS:

George Douros - Casa Roma Restaurant/Volunteer Firefighter
-George's 5 o'clock shadow is impressive, and we can't wait to see what moustache comes from that!

Chad Zentner - Owner - Zentner Funeral Home
-Chad currently is sporting a bit of facial hair, but his Halloween costume requires a clean face, so this contest is at the perfect time!

Kieth Carlson - Salesman at Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick / Town Councilor
-Kieth also has facial hair of white and red and will be shaving it off for the challenge. We may have had to do a bit of begging, but he finally caved, or should we say shaved.

Ziad Albik - Ziad's Barber Shop
-Ziad is no stranger to the shave and not only has he donated a gift certificate to the winner gift basket but will also be shaving off his facial hair for this cause.

Trevor Landmark - Kaz's Service
-If you have ever stepped foot into Kaz's, you may have seen Trevor and his dark, thick beard and moustache. He hasn't been without it in 6-7 YEARS! He is ready to get rid of it and start fresh for a chance to win!

Dr Scott Smith - Claresholm General Hospital
-Dr Smith is well known in our community, at the hospital and medical clinic. The bald doctor will be growing a fierce moustache, we are sure!

Jordie Bronson - Bronson Enterprises / Chairman - Chamber of Commerce
-After Jordie had to shave clean, due to losing a challenge against the Stavely Royal Purple and having to sport the prettiest lady attire & makeup, he is ready to bring back his masculine side.

Paul McKenzie - Claresholm Thunder Alumni
-Paul was the first man to sign up and is excited to be part of this contest, once again being a part of something great in Claresholm.

John Corlett - General Manager - Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick Claresholm
-We may have been told to ask his beautiful wife, Mars, if John could participate due to his current facial hair status but thankfully, she agreed. Not only is he in our competition but Davis is holding their own in-house competition to support the Foundation. Be sure to watch their page for details.
