Hey Everyone,

It's been a while since I've updated this page... I'm back working on horses after dealing with my health issues and I'm feeling great!! I'm hoping to be more active on here by doing some question and answer types of posts and educational videos... If you have any questions or topics please leave them in the comments below...

I will be looking at offering some haul in days into the Claresholm Agriplex, if people are interested in hauling horses to me.

I am also willing to offer more therapeutic shoeing and consultations on horse's feet, if anyone wants to explore those avenues as well. I can work with your vets and current farrier as part of a team.

I'm excited to get

A good friend of mine uses the expression "It's the little victories in Life that matter the most"... This particular case reminded me of that yesterday. We've gained a lot of ground on this foot in 4 weeks👍🤞🤞
(The hoof wall was roughly rasped and notched on purpose in order for the acrylic to get a stronger bond with the foot)

We ran into a case with White Line disease today... We managed to get it all cleaned out and we nailed a shoe on with 3D Elliptical pads for support. This area will be packed with Sugar/Iodine until Thursday and then we'll fill it all in with Equilox... To be continued 👍

What was supposed to be a routine shoeing, turned out to be a project...

I first saw this horse about 4 weeks ago. She had a history of crossfiring (hitting her inside front coronet band with her right hind) The coronet band was compromised and sore to palpate with thumb pressure. We applied 3D Elliptical pads with DIM material for support. Switched the shoeing behind as well and she was sound and kept training... The stable did a great job of managing this with their daily hoof care routine👍

These pictures were taken this week... She trained all month without hitting herself allowing the hoof to grow out considerably and we were able to dig out the affected area. We switched to the Half Mesh 3D Elliptical pads with DIM, giving her more support...

I'm lucky to be able to reach out to other racehorse shoers for advice over FB messenger. Thanks Steve!! Their input helps me move out of my Comfort Zone and attack these cases, so I can do better for the horse...
