Hello plant friends!

Spring is definitely in the air today, what a fine day to get some new plants! 🌱

Happy day, I got big new houseplant. This one is a Dracaena Reflexa Green. I also got a smaller Dracaena Variegated (Song of India).

I’ve been busy propagating and repotting like plant people do at this time of the year. But this Spring is a little different.

We are about to finish the build of our new home and will be moving within a couple of months. So, you can expect some houseplant purges as I re-consolidate my houseplants and determine what I would like to take with me, and what I would like to let go.

Keep an eye on my page, as a new plant sale will be posted soon. I have a few plants sold and left here from previous sale, which I would like to send off to their rightful owners as well!

Anyone else buying new plants right now?! It’s the most exciting time of the year for plant people!! 🤩🌱

Remember when I was going to sell my Metallicum? Glad I didn’t. I tried potting the plant in a much bigger pot, this was a trick I recently learned about growing Anthurium. And it looks like it’s working 🥰🙏

I was supposed to do a plant sale today but this happened…

I will come back tomorrow with my sale, my apologies! I bought this pump organ on Tibb’s eve and finally was able to get it delivered this evening.

My other hobby besides plants is music, sometimes they compete with each other 😝

Over Christmas Holidays, my son Julian asked to help me repot my “planties”. While he helped me with a couple, I went on to repot about 40 plants that were due for a repot. The time I get to spend with my plants may be significantly less these days - apparent from repotting this many plants within a few days - but I love my plants so much still. They assist my mind to rest amidst my very full (and loving it) life!

With all the plant work came some decisions to cull the plant herd. I will repost plants for sale today.

I will make another trip to St. John’s/Metro this Saturday, January 6th, weather permitting.

Keep your eyes tuned, and expect a sale post within a couple of hours!

With some time off from work, I’ve been enjoying one of my favourite hobbies, which is my plants. It’s important to make a little time for your passions, no matter the holiday pressures. It’s what keeps the light burning in one’s heart, giving us a sense of inner connection and personal joy in doing something for the sake of pure fun.

Besides taking my milsbo cabinet apart, cleaning it all up, repotting many plants and restyling, I’ve repotted a couple of my larger plants. One of the larger plants I’ve repotted is this Ric Rac cactus. It’s also known as the Fishbone cactus. It was in dire need of a repot. I love this plant so much and I’m looking forward to it growing out more and more to fill this large 12 inch pot.

Going back to passions and hobbies, what are some of yours? My other besides plants in playing music. I am a mom of two boys and a Mental Health Counsellor and EMDR therapist. I love my family and being the mom of my pride and joy. And my work is more than work to me, it is a passion albeit a professional one. But I’m interested in hearing about your passions outside of family, friends and (maybe) work 😂.

What is your passion? Plants and/or something else?

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! 🎄

I have been quiet on my social media in light of the eventful Christmas season (not to mention flu season 😂😫).

I will plan another trip to St. John’s/metro in the New Year, before January 8th. That means more plants for sale and another plant-pick up is coming soon!

And because I’m as much of a plant enthusiast as the next crazy plant person, I also wanted to share my updated Milsbo Cabinet set up. I recently potted up some Hoya and created a miniature Hoya wall 🥹🌱 I’ve also included some pics of my Florida Beauty with her new leaf, very impressed by the maturity of her leaves coming in.

Finally, this is the time of Plant Wishlists!! Please share with me what you Wishlist plants are for 2024!!

For me, I’m feeling the Hoya bug and would love to grab an Anthurium Crystallinum. 🙏

🌱 PLANTS FOR SALE 🌱

Welcome to all new followers of my Nancy Plants page!

And welcome back to all my faithful plant friends, thanks for your support on the last plant sale and I hope you love your plant goodies. As always, reach out if you are seeking advice on growing your new plants or any plants you already have in your collection.

I wanted to start a new plant sale post today to list all plants available at this time.

Here are my general guidelines:

🌱 The first to claim the plant by commenting on the photo saying “me”, “mine”, “sold” and sending EMT will get to buy the plant.

🌱 Please commit to purchasing what you claim.

🌱 There are no holds on what you claim without sending an EMT. If someone claims and sends along their EMT before you do even if you’ve claimed first, the plant goes to the person who claimed after but paid before.

🌱 I arrange plant sale pick-ups in the St. John’s/Metro periodically. The remainder local plant purchasers can meet me at my home for pick-up in Clarke’s Beach within a week to pick-up their goodies.

All guidelines have been put in place to allow smooth and efficient plant sales and help me get my plants off to their new homes so I am not holding on to an abundance of plants in my small home! 🏡 Thanks for your understanding and cooperation in advance.

If there are plants you know I have in my collection or you are wondering if I have a specific plant, do not hesitate to reach out to me about it and I will be happy to help if I can.

Hello all! 👋

This is the FOURTH sale post for today where I showcase plant I have for sale.

Here is my Epipremnum Pinnatum Albo in semi maturity, these plants can get even bigger. My Epi Pinn Albo - like my Manjula - is quite the beast of a specimen and also like my manjula, I’ve had it for a couple of years now, this thing does not stop growing and maturing still, with every leaf. Just put this plant on a pole and it takes off, again…a lot like the manjula.

* THE BLACK ON THE PLANT IS HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS HAHAHA SORRY 🤣 I decorate my plants for Halloween, doesn’t everyone?! 🤷‍♀️

I have TWO fully rooted baby plants for sale.

This is a fast growing plant that imo sizes up fast when you have it in favourable conditions I.e., bright indirect light and average humidity. This does not need to be in high humidity or direct light but needs a bit more than medium light to thrive. This plant is THIRSTY. I don’t ever let her fully dry out.

I will be in St. John’s/Metro this upcoming Saturday, Nov 4th and will hold my plant pick-up between 11:00am-11:30am in the city centre. I will individually message all plant purchasers this week on the pick up location and will confirm the pick up the day before.

Hello all! 👋

After my most recent plant sale, I’ve decided to showcase some of the plants I have left for sale by giving them their own post.

The first is Monstera Subpinnata.

This is not my picture, it is found on the internet. I’m using it to show what Monstera Subpinnata looks as it matures. I think it’s helpful sometimes to see certain plants in maturity as some plants really go on a transformation as they mature.
