Motherhood

My greatest blessing, joy, honour in this lifetime
Also the greatest journey of selflessness

A love that feel so scary it could almost kill me and I have it three times, how lucky and I to love something so much that it hurts

My mom wasn’t perfect, she had her flaws but she taught me to love and beyond anything else she taught me to kind. Now that I’m older I see how much she loved me, us, her kids. I wish so badly she was here to celebrate today

She is celebrated in every moment that I am celebrated because she made me who I am

My children, I hope you grow up and always know you are everything, you are wanted and you are sooo enjoyed

Being your mom is the most important thing to me and I’ll always try to better myself for you, to find joy in the mundane for you and to be the person you run to even when you’re old 🙌✨

The day I went into labour > TODAY 💜🙌✨ 9.5 months In VS Out

It’s bitter sweet and I still have my birth story to share one day. IT WAS A WILD ONE!

Having Louie lit up a different person in me. A version of me you should be scared of 🤣

Im more driven, more confident, more tuned in than ive ever been and I am honestly so freaking proud of myself.

At 2 months postpartum, knowing I am not having any more kiddos I went absolute beast mode and committed 110% to my goals. No excuses no BS no nothing and what that has done for my mental health is priceless.

I’ve also had a dark/transformative postpartum. One that has challenged me in so many ways. But being committed to myself and my health and goals has been my saving grace. I can’t imagine having gotten through it the version of me a couple years ago.

If I can speak to anything it’s that you gotta stop fleeing the journey. The hard part is the point. It’s actually what makes everything worth it in the end. You will find yourself in the moments that push you. That’s where a new version of you is born. One that exceeds anything you have ever been before. So sure pick the easier way but you may miss out on the person deep inside who’s waiting to be seen.

It is time to wake up, remember what it feels like to be truly living.

How many of us are walking around simply existing, day to day, on auto drive, forgetting that every single day here on earth is a freaking miracle. Not because some big thing happened but because you are here for a reason.

Life is beautiful and messy and by being a deeply feeling person you get the gift to experinceing life to the fullest. Not pushing away the “bad” not staying toxically positive but but by choosing LIFE. Choosing to say yes to this human experince.

ALIVE ~ A womens weekend in the woods. Why? Because you are so worth it. Life is worth it and its time to celebrate living.

WHAT?
We will join over the solstice from March 21-23, in Shawnigan Lake for a weekend of celebration
We will feast, move, breathe, share our stories, laugh, play and bring our cells back to life
We will heal through yoga, yoga nidra, breath, dance, fuel and hydrotherapy
We will swim in the river, soak in the hot tub and sweat in the sauna

Walking into 2024…

🍑 N A K E D + open to receive everything this year has to offer. The good, the bad, always beautiful.

One of the greatest things I’ve learnt is that nothing ever happens without a lesson. There is always learning to be done if you want it. There is ALWAYS beauty even in the most painful. When you remain open you allow yourself to be constantly evolving and growing. I feel at peace this year. At peace with my body, who I am, how I show up and my path forward. Content. It’s lovely 🥰

Calling in so much for myself and for all of you as we wind down the final days of 2023…

I encourage you to reflect now, don’t wait till it’s too late to live life on your terms.

Live a life that FEELS GOOD. Not looks good, not sounds good but feels really really fu***ng good.

Eat nourishing food and take care of yourself!!! Please prioritize it now instead of ignoring your bodies language for years and then feeling like it failed you when great illness sets in.

Cherish your friends, your family, the people who show up for you. Cherish them over material objects. You rarely need all the things you think you can’t live without. The one thing we can’t is community. Loneliness really can kill you.

All that matters is love. I mean this, whole heartedly. It’s ALL that matters. Come back to it time and time again. Your heart knows the way.

Trust that everything you ever wanted is wanting you too. You just have to stay open to it and KNOW that you are worthy and deserving of it. I promise you are.

We are all light, we might be covered in layers of muck thrown onto us by ourselves or others but the fact that we are pure light underneath it all remains true.

Stay true, stay open, stay loving, stay honest. There is some of the best moments of your life still to come ✨

Nourished New Years is a day retreat that is focused on bringing intention into 2024

We wont be setting goals based on bettering everything about ourselves as if we are not already perfect. We will however be:

Setting intentions that feel important to our hearts

Honouring and showing deep love to our body, mind and soul for everything it has already acomplished and all that is to come
Sitting in community with like minded people who also desire a heart led, healthy life
