The sweet inbetween ✨🥰

Savouring every moment of this belly, your little kicks, the special moments we share while its just you and I. Getting to be your home right now is more than a miracle. Not a single day passes that I dont know whole heartedly how lucky I am.

All while trying to stay patient as my desire to hold you, touch your soft skin, smell you, kiss your little lips and bask in everything you are. Earthside.

Its something special to carry your last baby. Knowing this is the last time I will expereince these moments. I didnt think of it with Rivi as I think my heart knew it wasnt my last. This time we know you will complete our family so I have made sure to take it all in.

I want to fully savour these final weeks, give as much love and attention to Bo and Riv as I know it will shift soon. Although I must say their excitement is truly magical.

We are creating the most special home for you here with us. I hope you are feeling at ease as your time among the stars, nestled in my womb, comes to a close.

We will be here waiting.

It is time to wake up, remember what it feels like to be truly living.

How many of us are walking around simply existing, day to day, on auto drive, forgetting that every single day here on earth is a freaking miracle. Not because some big thing happened but because you are here for a reason.

Life is beautiful and messy and by being a deeply feeling person you get the gift to experinceing life to the fullest. Not pushing away the “bad” not staying toxically positive but but by choosing LIFE. Choosing to say yes to this human experince.

ALIVE ~ A womens weekend in the woods. Why? Because you are so worth it. Life is worth it and its time to celebrate living.

WHAT?
We will join over the solstice from March 21-23, in Shawnigan Lake for a weekend of celebration
We will feast, move, breathe, share our stories, laugh, play and bring our cells back to life
We will heal through yoga, yoga nidra, breath, dance, fuel and hydrotherapy
We will swim in the river, soak in the hot tub and sweat in the sauna

Walking into 2024…

🍑 N A K E D + open to receive everything this year has to offer. The good, the bad, always beautiful.

One of the greatest things I’ve learnt is that nothing ever happens without a lesson. There is always learning to be done if you want it. There is ALWAYS beauty even in the most painful. When you remain open you allow yourself to be constantly evolving and growing. I feel at peace this year. At peace with my body, who I am, how I show up and my path forward. Content. It’s lovely 🥰

Wishing you all a beautiful start to this new year 🫶🏻 I hope you go after the life you want with fierce love for yourself and everyone around you ❤️

Calling in so much for myself and for all of you as we wind down the final days of 2023…

I encourage you to reflect now, don’t wait till it’s too late to live life on your terms.

Live a life that FEELS GOOD. Not looks good, not sounds good but feels really really fu***ng good.

Eat nourishing food and take care of yourself!!! Please prioritize it now instead of ignoring your bodies language for years and then feeling like it failed you when great illness sets in.

Cherish your friends, your family, the people who show up for you. Cherish them over material objects. You rarely need all the things you think you can’t live without. The one thing we can’t is community. Loneliness really can kill you.

All that matters is love. I mean this, whole heartedly. It’s ALL that matters. Come back to it time and time again. Your heart knows the way.

Trust that everything you ever wanted is wanting you too. You just have to stay open to it and KNOW that you are worthy and deserving of it. I promise you are.

We are all light, we might be covered in layers of muck thrown onto us by ourselves or others but the fact that we are pure light underneath it all remains true.

Stay true, stay open, stay loving, stay honest. There is some of the best moments of your life still to come ✨

Nourished New Years is a day retreat that is focused on bringing intention into 2024

We wont be setting goals based on bettering everything about ourselves as if we are not already perfect. We will however be:

Setting intentions that feel important to our hearts

There’s an artificial illusion of happiness on social media

Everyone sharing and blasting their happiest moments, greatest achievements while their other less “glorified” emotions live off the screens. Struggles happen in silence, when everything isn’t going well we shouldn’t post because we don’t wanna bring people down right?? Wrong.

What does this do to someone who is on social media just looking to belong? It creates the feeling that when they feel sadness or darkness, when they don’t feel happiness all the time, they must be defective. Their life must not be as good. What’s wrong with them?

Then we pair that with the fact that we have lost so much in person connection and so many people are looking to social media to connect. But what happens when you don’t recognize yourself in others posts? What happens when the place you go for connection leaves you feeling so much more alone…

THIS is why I share these moments
So if you are landing here today in a less than happy mood you still see yourself here. You still know you belong. You know that while I have moments of happiness and gratitude and deep joy, I also have dark days. Just like E V E R Y O N E else.

Your sad and low moments make you exactly RIGHT. They make you human just like me. Imagine what could change if we honoured our darkness and our sadness as much as we valued happiness. What if we removed the stigma and shame. Maybe we could all feel a little more safe being us. Being real and we could come back to knowing we are all ONE.

So here’s some moments over the last month when I was having some hard days. Some days filled with struggle, grief, pain. They matter too. She deserves just as much space on here as when I share any achievement ❤️❤️

You are valuable and important in all your feels. Don’t like your heart harden my loves.

👋 Hello to our beautiful Nourished Community

It has been a while since we introduced ourselves and talked about who we are as a small business
We are Brooklyn and Heidi, two holistic nutritionists and holistic chef’s

✨ Our journey as a team started out when Heidi worked for Brooklyn and helped to run the Nourished Togo kitchen while Brooklyn focused on bringing little baby Rivi into the world. In January we entered a partnership and started to dream and grow this business as a team. The partnership seemed to just make sense and the universe confirmed it for us with everything we have ever planned falling into place with such ease. I personally couldnt be more grateful for Heidi and everything she brings to the table

Just like any partnership we have gone through ups and downs but we always seem to land on the same page and the trust, connection and simular devotion to what we do has made it so easy and a pretty amazing journey so far.

This partnership has quickly grown into a friendship and relationship we both value immensly. We hope you see that in what we continue to offer through our food

🥕 Nourished Togo’s main goal is to nourish our community. Body, mind, soul and bellies! We want to bring people together and make you fall back in love with your health journey. We know delcious food can also be deeply nourishing and covenient too! It isnt just about food. It is about life and all the special moments!
