Journal Prompt from Kula:
What am I grateful for in this exact moment?

In this moment, I am deeply grateful for my family and friends—those who have loved and supported me, especially over the past few years. As we grow older, we begin to truly understand how precious life is. When we are younger, we don’t always recognize how quickly time moves or how valuable each day truly is. With time, our perspective shifts, and we learn to cherish the simple moments, shared experiences, and the people who walk beside us.

Gratitude often lives quietly in the background of our lives, waiting for us to pause and notice it.

Today, I invite you to sit with this question. See if you can name two things—or two people—you are truly grateful for in this moment.

Journal Prompt from Kula:
What helps you feel grounded when life feels busy or overwhelming?

When life feels full or overwhelming, I return to nature—often through a quiet walk or time spent near water. When the weight feels heavier, I turn to journaling. Writing allows me to release what I’m carrying, to place my thoughts and feelings somewhere safe, and to create space to breathe again.

It has taken years to learn what truly grounds me—and just as importantly, to recognize when my nervous system is asking for these practices. This is part of my ongoing commitment to listening inward and choosing care when it’s needed most.

True self-care, for me, is simple.
It’s stepping outside, breathing in fresh air, and letting Mother Nature do what she does best—ground me.

It’s feeling my feet on the earth, listening to the wind in the trees, and remembering that I don’t have to rush or prove anything. Nature reminds me to slow down, to be present, and to come back to myself.

This is where I reset.
This is where I feel whole.

Gosh, this is such a great question.

For me, it’s my community. I live in a beautiful part of the Ottawa Valley and spend a lot of time outside, soaking in everything nature has to offer. But it’s the people here who truly inspire me — the ones who have welcomed my vision and continue to support the space I’ve created. That kind of connection and encouragement is something I don’t take for granted.

For my own personal growth, I’m deeply inspired by the Mel Robbins Podcast. Her interviews and personal stories have made me cry, laugh, and reflect — and I always walk away feeling empowered and reminded of what’s possible.

Journal Prompt: What boundaries do I need right now? ✨

My biggest hurdle is saying no — without guilt, without explanation. Why do we say yes so quickly, only to feel instant regret? I know I’m not alone in this; it’s a conversation I hear again and again.

“No” is a complete sentence.
So why do we feel the need to justify it?

I often catch myself over-explaining why I don’t want to go somewhere, do something, or take on another project. I’ve always been a “yes” person. But this is my year of Yes to Me — and that means there will be a lot more no’s if something doesn’t bring me joy.

(Of course, there will be a few exceptions 😉)

My boundary right now?
✨ Mastering the art of saying no — without explanation.

The Clarity Project 🤍

What an incredible day spent with 9 amazing women who showed up with open minds and open hearts. We began with a gentle yoga practice, grounding into our bodies and the day ahead. Sue of then guided us through powerful self-reflection, asking thoughtful, provoking questions that invited clarity and intention.

From there, we created beautiful vision boards, shared meaningful moments, and closed the day with a deeply relaxing sound bath. Delicious snacks and beverages were lovingly provided by Rebecca of .inthevalley — always such a treat!

Scarlett had the sweetest day making new friends and thoroughly enjoyed the sound bath too 💕

Thank you to each and every one of you for making this day so special.
My heart is so full ✨

“How can I be kinder to myself this month?”

Part of my “Yes to Me” year is learning to truly take better care of myself — not just with healthy food and consistent movement, but with compassion, patience, and self-respect. I’m focusing on nourishing my body, moving it with love, and remembering that perfection is not the goal… being well is.

That means reminding myself it’s okay if I eat one too many cookies. It’s okay if I don’t feel up to working out some days. It’s okay to listen to my body and honour its needs. I am human, not a machine — and kindness toward myself is part of my healing and growth. 💛

Today, take a mindful moment to reflect:
🌿 Where can you soften your expectations of yourself?
🌿 What would it look like to treat yourself with more compassion this month?

Be gentle. Be patient. Be kind to you. You deserve it. ✨

“What small daily moments bring me joy?”

Oooo I love this prompt! Today I’m celebrating the simple pleasures that quietly shape my happiness. For me, it’s the little morning ritual that starts my day with love and gratitude — opening the dogs’ crates and being greeted by pure excitement and wiggly happiness, that first hug and kiss from my husband, and of course… the very first sip of coffee. ☕️💛

When I’m travelling and away from home, I always notice how much I miss these moments. They may seem small, but they fill my heart and set the tone for my day. Sometimes joy isn’t found in the “big” life events — it lives in the ordinary magic we experience every single day.

Take a moment to reflect today:
🌿 What little moments quietly make your heart feel full?
🌿 What part of your day do you look forward to, even if it seems simple?

May we never overlook the beauty in everyday life. ✨

“What can I release that no longer serves me?”

Over the past couple of years I’ve stepped into what some might lovingly call my “woo woo era” 😉 — and honestly, it has been one of the most grounding and transformative shifts of my life. The mind and body are powerful, and yet so many of us hold on tightly… to habits, stories, expectations, hurts, and even relationships, simply because we hope they’ll change.

Letting go isn’t easy. Releasing people or relationships can be one of the hardest emotional journeys we face. The loss isn’t just about their presence — it’s the memories, the attachment, the version of life we imagined. That’s where I personally struggle. But I also know this:

🌿 Holding on to what weighs us down keeps us from stepping into who we’re meant to become.
🌿 Letting go is not failure — it’s self-respect, clarity, and healing.
🌿 We are allowed to choose peace.

This is my “Yes to Me” year. I’m giving myself permission to reevaluate what supports my growth, my wellness, and my peace… even when it’s uncomfortable, even when it’s hard.

Take a moment today and reflect with me:
✨ What are you ready to release that no longer serves you?
✨ What could letting go make space for in your life?

You deserve lightness. You deserve alignment. You deserve to choose you. 💛

“What am I proud of that I don’t acknowledge enough?”

Today I’m choosing to sit with this question honestly and tenderly. One thing I don’t give myself enough credit for is the day I decided to stop drinking. I was a heavy drinker for many years, and while I can’t rewrite that part of my story, I can respect the moment I chose myself, my health, my relationships, and my peace.

Sobriety hasn’t always been easy, but it has been one of the greatest acts of self-love I’ve ever committed to. I’ve acknowledged the past, accepted it, apologized where I needed to, and kept moving forward. As I approach three years sober, I’m learning to feel proud of the strength, courage, and self-respect it took to get here — and to stay here. ❤️

Take a moment today to reflect:
🌿 What are you proud of that you don’t celebrate enough?
🌿 What strength, habit, boundary, or healing deserves more recognition from you?

You deserve to honour your growth. You deserve to celebrate yourself. 💫

The last time I felt true peace was the moment I finally let something heavy go. I wrote a letter to someone I love deeply, expressing the anger and hurt I had been carrying, read it aloud, and then burned it. As the flames rose, so did my sense of freedom. The peace that washed over me reminded me how powerful release can be.

Sometimes peace isn’t about fixing anything.
Sometimes it’s about letting your heart breathe again.
