We had a spook-tacular time celebrating Halloween with our residents! From festive games to a lively costume contest, everyone got into the spirit and had so much fun. 👒🧙‍♂️🕸️

🌿💚 Today we tucked our garden beds in for a long winter’s nap! ❄️🌼 Our **Harmony Care** residents helped clear the flowers and veggies, reflecting on a season of growth and beauty 🌱✨ This hands-on activity is part of our **year-round Montessori-inspired programming**, giving residents with dementia meaningful ways to connect, engage, and nurture 🌻👩‍🌾

🐴🍂 Fall adventures with a purpose! Our residents had the sweetest time visiting the **Primrose Donkey Sanctuary** — meeting gentle donkeys, learning their stories, and supporting an amazing cause 💛🐾 A perfect day of laughter, love, and giving back! 🌻✨

🌿🥐✨ What a beautiful day in Harmony! As part of our Montessori program, our residents rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on in the kitchen, creating delicious puff pastry turnovers and rolls. The highlight? We used fresh herbs 🌱 grown right here in our own Palisade Gardens garden!

Programs like this are about so much more than baking — they encourage creativity, stimulate the senses, and spark joyful memories. From the soothing aroma of herbs to the warm feeling of fresh pastries coming out of the oven, the experience was comforting, engaging, and meaningful for everyone involved. 💛

We are so proud to bring enriching opportunities like this to our dementia care neighborhood, where every moment can be full of connection, purpose, and joy. 🥂🍃

🧹💖 Today we celebrated Housekeeper Appreciation Day in the sweetest way possible! 🍫✨ Our incredible housekeeping team keeps Palisade Gardens sparkling every single day, and we couldn’t resist saying thank you with a punny chocolate bar board and handwritten cards just for them.

You’re truly the heart of our home — and we appreciate you more than words (or chocolate) can say! 💐🌟

🌽✨ What a a-maize-ing afternoon at our Corn Roast! Residents enjoyed local fresh corn, a lively shucking contest, kernel-count guessing, and so many corny games. 🎉 The highlight? A fantastic local dance group teaching us line dancing — everyone was up and moving! 💃🕺 Thank you to all who made it such a kernel of joy. 💛🌽

🧼✨ A little self-care came to Palisade Gardens! We welcomed a local vendor sharing their beautiful handmade soaps and face creams — our community loved the chance to shop, smell, and sample these all-natural goodies! 💕🛍️

🍫✨ Today our community was treated to something truly sweet! We welcomed an award-winning Ontario chocolatier who shared their passion and knowledge with us, and our residents had the chance to get creative with chocolate bar painting using edible chocolate paints. 🎨🍫

It was a deliciously fun afternoon full of laughter, learning, and (of course) tasting. 💕

We had the incredible Ron the Magician visit our community, and he absolutely wowed our residents with his amazing tricks and charm! From laughter to jaw-dropping moments, it was an afternoon filled with wonder, smiles, and a little bit of magic. 🪄💫
