We’re feeling EXTRA lucky over here! 🍀💚

Our St. Patrick’s Day celebration was full of laughs, friendly games, and lots (and lots!) of green! From festive outfits to enjoying some green beer and classic Guinness, the fun was in full swing.
Safe to say—our residents know how to sham-ROCK a party! 🎉

Here at Palisade Gardens we had a wonderful visit from local Grade 7 and 8 students who have been learning how to play euchre in school. They came to spend time with our residents and show off their new skills at the card table! 🃏

It was a fantastic afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great conversation. Our residents loved sharing tips, stories, and a few winning hands with the students. Intergenerational moments like these are truly special and remind us how games like euchre can bring people of all ages together.

Thank you to the students and teachers for visiting and brightening everyone’s day at Palisade Gardens!

Love was definitely in the air at our Valentine’s Day photo shoot! ❤️

Our wonderful residents in Palisade and Harmony Wing brought the smiles, charm, and lots of heart to the camera. From sweet laughter to heartfelt moments, it was a beautiful celebration of love, friendship, and community.
We are so grateful to share these special moments together. 💘

🌿💚 Today we tucked our garden beds in for a long winter’s nap! ❄️🌼 Our **Harmony Care** residents helped clear the flowers and veggies, reflecting on a season of growth and beauty 🌱✨ This hands-on activity is part of our **year-round Montessori-inspired programming**, giving residents with dementia meaningful ways to connect, engage, and nurture 🌻👩‍🌾

🌿🥐✨ What a beautiful day in Harmony! As part of our Montessori program, our residents rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on in the kitchen, creating delicious puff pastry turnovers and rolls. The highlight? We used fresh herbs 🌱 grown right here in our own Palisade Gardens garden!

Programs like this are about so much more than baking — they encourage creativity, stimulate the senses, and spark joyful memories. From the soothing aroma of herbs to the warm feeling of fresh pastries coming out of the oven, the experience was comforting, engaging, and meaningful for everyone involved. 💛

We are so proud to bring enriching opportunities like this to our dementia care neighborhood, where every moment can be full of connection, purpose, and joy. 🥂🍃
