Today was a proud day in our garden plot!

Our Harmony Care residents have been lovingly tending to their hole-grown herbs all season, and today we harvested the ‘fruits’ of their care and shared them with our kitchen team. 🧑‍🌾👩‍🍳

Engaging in meaningful activities like gardening helps enrich the lives of those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s — promoting sensory stimulation, reducing anxiety, and fostering a sense of purpose and accomplishment. 💚

Moments like these connect our residents to nature, each other, and the larger community. And nothing tastes better than herbs grown with pride and joy… just look at those smiles!

🌺✨ Aloha from Palisade Gardens! Yesterday our residents were swept away by the charm of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe impersonators for a dazzling 90-minute show! 🎤🎶

We had a lovely time visiting the Laveanne Lavender Fields last weekend! Though it rained (as soon as we stepped off the bus), that didn’t dampen our spirits. Residents enjoyed the lovely blooms and smells as we walked through the carefully curated fields. What a lovely trip!

Earlier last week we had the pleasure of presenting the Palisade Gardens Tournament Cup to the most recent winner of the club’s annual tournament.
