I got this thank you card in the mail today from a very nice couple that had a medical emergency at a restaurant while we were away. The husband had a complete airway obstruction and we were fortunate enough to be able to eventually free it.

Why am I posting this????? Because like I've been saying (and teaching) for years, emergencies happen all the time, they happen anywhere, and they happen when you least expect them. TAKE A COURSE and learn how to save someone's life. Be the person that can help and not one of the 20 people watching. A brain (or heart) without oxygen cannot stay alive long enough for paramedics to arrive. Help be the reason someone else can wake up to their family today, because someday that family member may be your own.

We will be closing for holidays tomorrow at 12pm and returning Monday Sept 5. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone, and I am still available via cell phone. It's our kids last week before returning to school, so we are taking much-needed time away with them. Thank you everyone for your continued support.

Just wanted to give a big shout out to all the Parkridge Resorts for having NFAS host your training today! Meeting the staff from all your locations was an honor, and its great to see another employer going above and beyond to ensure everyone at their resorts are safe and protected!

Unfortunately there is still a large back-order on AED's and supplies, but you all are put in que with the others that are anxiously awaiting these units. Fingers crossed for a timely delivery, and thank you again!!
