🚑 Nurses and staff in Northumberland County stepped up their skills this week with TWO Heart & Stroke BLS classes led by Northumberland CPR Training 👏

In the Basic Life Support (BLS) program, participants refreshed and practiced:
✅ High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
✅ Use of AEDs (defibrillators)
✅ Team dynamics in resuscitation
✅ Airway management and rescue breathing
✅ Response to choking emergencies

Watton Employment Services Inc hired Northumberland CPR Training for one of their client workshops in Cobourg. We completed a 2-day Heart and Stroke Standard Level-C with AED program .In addition to CPR we learned about S.A.M.P.L.E to assist us in doing patient assessments as well as doing secondary assessments such as Head-to-toe assessments and checking vitals.

Coverdale Tennis club recently completed a Heartsaver Level A course to prepare them for emergencies .

The Coverdale Tennis club completed a Heart and Stroke Level-A course with AED today at Venture 13 in just 3.5 hours.
All 12 participants did a great job and feel a lot more confident should they need to use their CPR skills and new defibrillator.

Service Clubs, Church Groups, Sports clubs etc can complete this training and receive a Heart and Stroke Certificate while gaining lifesaving skills.

Yesterday was a special day for us and our youngest daughter Amber. She graduated with an honours degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from University of Ottawa. She will be pursuing further studies this fall in a post-graduate program through Queens University for Immigration and Citizenship Law.

Northumberland CPR Training completed a Heart and Stroke 1 day Emergency Level C course with AED today.
We learned a lot and had some fun. Thanks for helping organize Judi and thanks Aaron for providing the space at FEEL GOOD COMPANY in downtown Port Hope.
