❄️ Winter Safety Reminder ❄️

With all the snow we’ve been getting, here are a few important safety tips to keep your home and community safe:

🔥 Keep vents clear
Make sure all outside vents for fireplaces, furnaces, and chimneys are free from snow and ice. Blocked vents can cause dangerous carbon monoxide to build up inside your home.

🚒 Clear around fire hydrants
If there’s a hydrant near your property, take a few minutes to shovel around it. In an emergency, those extra seconds can make a big difference.

🚗 Never warm up vehicles inside the garage
Even with the garage door open, carbon monoxide can enter your home. Always start and warm up vehicles outside, away from the house.

Stay safe, look out for your neighbours, and enjoy the winter!
