Before You Take Health Advice Online, Read This.
I saw another “wellness challenge” floating around today…
You know the type:
✨ inspirational message
✨ healthy habits
✨ a sprinkle of science
✨ beautifully curated product photos at the end
It looks harmless.
Inspiring, even.
But please hear me on this:
Not everyone who shares health tips online is qualified to guide your body, your hormones, or your metabolism.
Many of these posts mix three things together:
Common-sense health advice
Emotional support
Product promotion
And that combination feels trustworthy —
even when the person behind it has no real training.
Here’s how people get pulled in:
The tone is warm.
The advice sounds familiar.
The products are placed beside “healthy habits” so they look legitimate.
And before you know it, you’re buying supplements from someone who doesn’t understand how your body actually works.
Let me be very clear:
Being motivated doesn’t make someone a health professional.
Posting wellness content is not the same as having real training.
Posting wellness quotes doesn’t teach physiology.
Your midlife body deserves more than curated inspiration and pretty product photos.
If you follow someone online, here’s the real question to ask:
Does this person understand how hormones, digestion, metabolism, or dosing actually work?
Or do they just understand how to market?
There’s a difference.
A big one.
You deserve guidance based on science, not sales.
If you ever feel unsure who to trust, ask me.
Message me.
I won’t judge — I’ll help you sort through the noise.
We’re in this together, woman to woman.
