Suzie and Jason are hoping you find the seating options at the Cobourg Community Centre a little more accessible thanks to some new furniture. Suzie identified that the taller "barstool" style chairs and high-top tables were a barrier for people with reduced or different mobility. She was supported to connect with the CCC's facility manager, Jason, to express the need for safer and more accessible seating. Jason immediately acknowledged the need for these options and followed through with securing new seating and tables to add to the main foyer. Once the items arrived, he invited Suzie to test them out and she was happy to give her stamp of approval.

Thank you to Suzie, Jason, and the CCC for working together to make our community spaces more accessible for all!

The Early Transitions team and some young people supported by CLRN had a blast checking out YWHONorthumberland at their open house yesterday. The team there has built a great space with so much attention to detail to create a fun, safe, and supportive space for Northumberland youth.
