Lena is hosting "Watercolour Magic At Inch Imaging"
Lena began painting after her mother's death in 2013. She says:
"The less I think, the easier the paintings seem to happen. The harder I try, the less appealing they seem to be. So, I try to be patient enough to wait for inspiration but I need to keep learning, too. It's sometimes hard to find a balance. Themes like angels and trees, planets and space feel natural. Painting has healed my grief, calmed me, and comforted me. It has distracted me when I've needed it, and given me something to do with my time when there was nothing else I could do to make things better. I'm inspired by my mother, whose paints, brushes, and tools I still use, and by her presence which is strongest when the brush is in my hand."
