Introduction

Hi everyone!

My name is Heather and I have been a Doula for 3 years. I am trained in birth and post partum care specializing in hypnobirthing, acupressure and breastfeeding. I have trained in spinning babies techniques, rebozo and sleep education. I am currently studying child birth education to teach classes and have just completed my stillbirth doula certificate. I also am certified in placenta encapsulation and print keepsakes.

My facination with birth started many years ago. I have experienced my own traumatic births as well as calming and quick births of my children. I have helped welcome many of my friends children’s into the world and it was then I realized my calling. I became a certified birth and post partum doula with Bebo Mia in 2015 extending my education with them in sleep education and child birth educator.

I trained with Karen Williams in hypnobirthing and rebozo training (2016) and Gayle Tully in spinning babies (2017) and Claudia Citkovitz(2016) in acupuncture during labour and delivery. I became a certified placenta encapuslator in 2017.
