Tickets are $25.00 each, and there's a $0.63 service charge added if you pay by card. You're still welcome to pay by e-transfer to debscircle.org@gmail.com or by cash at the door, but please reserve your seat!

In just one month's time we'll be welcoming Gathering Sparks at Deb's Circle in Cobourg. Join us for a joyful night of music.

Gathering Sparks is the graceful collision of Eve Goldberg and Jane Lewis—musical friends who blend tight harmonies, finely crafted songs, and a love of participatory singing to create an intimate and uplifting experience. They'll be joined by percussionist Cheryl Prashker. You'll come to listen and walk away singing!

As an added bonus, your ticket purchase will help support the spring session of Grief Support and Songwriting for Survivors of Su***de Loss offered at no charge to adults bereaved by su***de.

To reserve your seat please send an email to debscircle.org@gmail.com to let us know who you are and how many are coming for the concert. Please pay $25/ticket by e-transfer to the same email address.

Join us Friday April 25 for an intimate house concert featuring the delightful talents of Gathering Sparks. Jane Lewis and Eve Goldberg will perform with percussionist Cheryl Prashker, and you'll be tapping your toes and singing along with their beautiful harmonies.

Come out on Wednesday evenings to explore your story through gently guided art experiences. Paint with acrylics, learn how to weave your story, try your hand at art journaling, collage and songwriting as self care.

Our spring programming includes an upcoming grief support group for survivors of su***de loss introducing the basics of songwriting for healing grief and trauma.

No musical experience or instrument is required.

There is no charge for the program, but participants must register for an intake interview to ensure the program can meet your needs.

Join us on Friday April 25 at 197 Third Street in Cobourg for our first house concert! Gathering Sparks will delight your musical senses and a portion of all ticket sales will help provide funds to run our Grief Support & Songwriting for Survivors of Su***de Loss group.

This small, closed group program will run for 6 weeks beginning in April. The group will be free of charge and open to adults over 18 who are bereaved by su***de. The first half of each session will focus on grief support especially for su***de loss, and during the second half of each session participants will learn about songwriting for healing in grief. At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the option of recording their song with Treblecock Studios in Peterborough, to be included as part of the Infinite Hearts project in the release of Songs by Survivors Volume 2.

Deb's Circle is a brand new resource centre for women's mental wellness in Cobourg and we're getting ready for spring programming. All of our therapeutic programs for women are run by qualified professionals at no cost to the participants.

Beginning in April, we're offering:
Grief Support and Songwriting for Survivors of Su***de Loss,
an Art to Heal the Heart workshop,
a Gentle Yoga class, and
a dance workshop called Emotions in Motion.

Welcome! Deb's Circle, founded in 2024, is born of Esther Inglis’ desire to honour her daughter's memory and support women's mental health.

Esther's daughter Deb was gifted, brilliant, accomplished, and most of all kind and thoughtful. Deb died by su***de November 13, 2017. Esther believes that if Deb had access to a community of support when she began to struggle with her mental health, Deb may still be alive today.

Deb’s Circle will offer therapeutic programs for individuals and groups that invite creativity and connection while also providing education and support in the hope that women like Deb will find the compassion and the resources they need to recover resilience when they are suffering.
