Our Spread the Love Valentine’s initiative was a beautiful reminder of what community truly means. Thanks to the incredible generosity of local volunteers and the creativity of students from schools across Northumberland, more than 400 handmade Valentine’s cards were delivered to seniors in our community.

These heartfelt messages brought smiles, sparked conversations, and reminded so many older adults that they are seen, valued, and loved.

We were honoured to have this initiative featured by CTV and CP24, helping shine a light on the importance of connection and compassion for seniors.

To every volunteer, every student, every teacher, and every supporter—thank you for helping us make this Valentine’s Day a little brighter for the seniors we serve.

Our hearts are full! 💌❤️

As part of our Dear Seniors Valentine’s Day initiative, we hosted a special craft day at our office and were joined by FIVE amazing schools and a dedicated caregiver supporting children with autism. Together, they created over 400 handmade valentines for seniors in our community.

A simple card can mean the world to someone — and this community showed up in the most beautiful way. 💕
