It makes me think of weight loss as well. The first time losing significant weight is always the hardest. But if you've done it once, you KNOW you're capable of it & it's way easier to do it again. We need more sharing about the divine, intelligence of a woman's body & her cycles through life. How she performs miracles everyday & shares wisdom on how she could be cared for better. I've seen women who couldn't stand straight after a C-section or other scar tissue pulling her posture down & the expansiveness in her body after unwinding that scar tissue. 🪷 Women with incontinence for years (or since they were a child) - now able to stand in line for the bathroom without panic because we've lifted organs off the bladder and improved nerve functioning. I am so lucky to experience miracles everyday & it's your own body healing itself. Sometimes she just needs a little help getting back into proper position and functioning.

Women deserve healthcare & education that is true & empowers them. Women are worthy of care that creates healthy change in the body & helps them understand why there are imbalances.

I want women to be thriving & resourced.

I grieve all the unnecessary harm & mutilation that occurs due to fear, & not being properly informed of options & how it can affect them.

I want to live in a community where every being is confident & healthy so they can receive & bring their gifts & medicines to the world.

The body is incredible & can heal itself, tell you stories, give you guidance if you learn to listen, trust and take care of her.

I believe in magic, mystery, and surrendering to the unfolding of life.

I believe we are nature and if we flow with our cycles, stages of life & live in relationship with our body & all living beings, we will be healthier & happier.

Women need judgement free spaces where they can be witnessed, celebrated & held.

I'm grateful that I've been able to learn from many different modalities and they all have the same underlying theme. Your body is brilliant, capable and wants to be in relationship with you and the natural world around us. Sometimes blockages occur with blood flow, qi, storing of emotions, suboptimal organ alignment or scar tissue. Bringing your tissue home and releasing stuck patterns opens up a whole new way of being and thriving within your internal and external world. It brings you back to your center, to your wholeness. Sessions are a collaboration - you know your body best and I'm happy to utilize modalities that resonate most with you. But the best treatments are when we get to listen to the body in that very moment, ask what it needs and allow it to guide us through the physical, energetic and emotional levels of healing.

I had the most fulfilling, incredible time offering sessions in Lethbridge. I had the privilege of unravelling so many scars - whether it be C-section, hysterectomy, gallbladder, appendectomies or just physical trauma. Every scar had a story to tell, a pathway to follow and an unwinding that resulted in openness, freedom of movement, and a rush of new blood flow and qi. It was amazing. Not to mention every other collaboration of healing experiences. Postpartum recovery, breast work, digestive discomforts relieved, bodily autonomy/education/empowerment, lifting of prolapses and so many bladder imbalances corrected & stabilized to name a few. Now I am ready to be back serving my community in Zihuatanejo. Thank you everyone for the support and allowing me to witness miracles everyday. This work is for those that long to be held as they are. It's for those that believe they can heal & restore optimal bodily function & want guidance, accountability, encouragement, practices & help. It's for those that KNOW being a woman is not a disease, so why are we being recommended hormones & prescriptions for the very same natural cycles women have gone through since.... forever? Without understanding why these symptoms are present in the first place. For those that wonder why the rate of infertility, cancer & hysterectomies are continually increasing & why menopause is seen as a disease instead of an invitation to be the wise women & elders of your community and family. Those that believe in their bodies ability to birth with autonomy, choice & preparation support. Those that want to heal from traumatic birthing experiences. It's for those that want connection. Connection to other women, connection to their bodies, connection to their emotions, connection to the life giving, pleasure holding, creative, abundant source of the Womb space. Connection to their digestive fire, self-power & confidence.
For those ready to release victim mentality, to release grief, anger, tension & step in to the woman they were meant to be. For the women ready to unravel. Unravel old scars, old stories, adhesions due to chronic inflammation, everything they've been faking to please others. So that they can be who they TRULY are & to experience everything the human life has to offer. For the people ready to say yes. Those ready to reach their full potential. I'm really excited to be offering what I call "The Blend" to the women of Southern Alberta this year. This is a weaving of everything I've studied in the last 7 years. The power of receiving hands on care, unwinding and reorganizing the tissue of our bodies & letting it all sink in & seal into our cellular being while we enter the balanced, deep rested state that acupuncture brings us...... Wow. Unbelievable & a very unique offering that I'm overjoyed to share.

Planning your postpartum care before birth is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
The first 40 days after giving birth—often called The Golden Month—are a sacred window to deeply heal, restore, and nourish your body and spirit.

This time is unlike any other. When held with intention, it can profoundly shape your long-term well-being and mothering journey.

What have been some of the best ways you've felt supported after giving birth? I've heard meal trains, gift cards to restaurants, hiring postnatal care for mom.... I'd love to hear more ideas.
