Does winter take a toll on your mood, energy, motivation and overall well being?
I will be starting an 8 week wellness program (covered by Alberta Health Care) the weekend of Oct 19th for women who struggle with winter blues/SAD.
We'll cover evidence-based ways to help you embrace (rather than dread) winter, including: bright light therapy, supplements, circadian rhythm and optimizing sleep, morning practices, making movement fun (play time!), exploring in Nature, mindfulness, healthy thinking, expressive arts, and much more. You will get to spend time with the horses and other animals at Free Spirit Sanctuary, do some winter tracking, birding,...
There will be 2 groups (4 per group) with sessions on either Saturday (10:00 am) or Sunday (11:00 am). If the weather is inclement we'll meet on Zoom. Sessions will last 2-3 hours depending on the activities for the weekend.
