Osteopathic Manual Therapy is a form of manual therapy which recognises the important connection between the structure and functions of the human body. Osteopathic Manual Therapists concentrate on how the bones, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit using a wide range of hands-on techniques. Natalie and Jackie are currently working out of the Amaryllis Centre for Healing in Cochrane, Alberta.

🌟 Discover the 4 Principles of Osteopathy!

1️⃣ The Body is a Unit: Every part of the body is interconnected. When one area is affected, others can be influenced too. Osteopathy treats the whole person!

2️⃣ Structure & Function are Interrelated: Our body’s structure affects its function. Maintaining proper alignment is key to optimal health!

3️⃣ The Body has Self-Healing Mechanisms: The body is naturally equipped to heal itself. Osteopathy supports and enhances these self-healing processes.

4️⃣ Rational Treatment is Based on Understanding: Effective treatment stems from a thorough understanding of these principles. Knowledge guides our holistic approach to health and wellness.

💪✨ Embrace a healthier you with osteopathy!

To the men and women who have served, to those who sacrificed their life for our freedom, to those who fought and returned a different person, to those who battle PTSD as a result, and to their families who unselfishly shared their loved ones and gave us the rights and freedoms we enjoy today. Thank you ❤️

Today is Truth and Reconciliation Day. Today we not only honour and remember all of the stolen children and families devastated by the acts of the Canadian Government and churches who abused and murdered so many, but we also acknowledge and hold our government accountable to the 94 Calls to Action for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡🧡🧡

Yesterday my mom and I had the honour of meeting up with a friend from my hometown in Manitouwadge, Nadia McLaren - writer, director and producer of the documentary “Muffins for Granny”. Her film was being shown in Airdrie at the Bert Church Theatre. The stories shared were from people who live in our area in Northern Ontario. The documentary was deeply touching and emotional, and we felt so connected to each of the people who shared. The scenery in the film was home. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

The work has only just begun.

The body is a functional unit. When dysfunction exists in the body, it often creates dysfunction, illness or injury elsewhere. Removing the strain through gentle osteopathic techniques improves blood and lymph flow, and allows for a restoration of the function.
