Hi 👋🏻
It’s been a while since I’ve checked in, and since there have been a few changes over the last few months, I thought it would be a good time to re-introduce myself 😊
If you’re new here, my name is Jackie. I’m an Osteopathic Manual Therapist, and Certified Athletic Therapist in Cochrane, AB. I hold my studies and certifications to the highest standards with the Alberta Association of Osteopathic Manual Therapists (AAOMT.org), and the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA - Athletictherapy.org). Holding the highest standards in training for my profession is extremely important to me. My osteopathic program was a 5 year, post graduate program (part time) for those who hold a degree in the health sciences (a 4 year kinesiology degree for me, and a one year post graduate diploma in Athletic Therapy), and a 2 year research thesis to complete my studies. I am required by both of my professions to do continuing education courses every year, to ensure my standard of care is always at its best for you!
Our family moved here in 2014, and started Cochrane Osteo Inc in March 2017 with my good friend and colleague, Natalie. For two years we rented space at Amaryllis Center for Healing with Martha. If you are a long time Cochranite, you may have known Martha well 🥰
The space changed ownership in 2018 and Samantha took over the space as Ammolite Healing Center. We are so grateful to have had a beautiful space to share our practice in the early years!!
I spent almost 7 years at ProActive Health building my practice and this past December I decided it was time for change. You can find me at Riverside Sports Therapy on Griffin Rd next to Nutters!!
After a few months, I’m happily settled into my new home, and love my space.
You can find the clinic link in my bio!
Thank you to all of my amazing patients over the years, not only for your support but allowing me the privilege of being part of your healing journey. Osteopathy is truly for every person. And treatment is specific to the needs of every individual.
