I graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy program in Calgary with honours. I am registered with MTAA, running my own practice from my home studio in Cochrane, Alberta. At 20 years old, I joined the Metropolitan Police in London where I served approximately 8 years. Once here I stayed within the legal field and became a Bylaw Officer. However, over the years and as much as I loved helping people, the majority of the time that people call 'Law Enforcement' is when something bad has happened. I wanted a career in which people wanted to come to me, not run away! I have had plenty of experience getting massages - my phiolosopy is to have as many as possible from as many different therapists, then when you find 'The One' - stick with them no matter what - massage is very subjective and not every therapist is for the same person, but they are like gold once you find that 'One'. I am trained in Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, TMJD, Infant Massage and Relaxation Massage. I like to work closely with each one of my clients, this enables me to build a specific treatment plan. During my second year in MH Vicars I completed a case study on 'Fibromyalgia' - this has given me a keen interest helping those who suffer with this.
