The notion that we can “heal” our nervous system is bogus. It’s a complex system that reacts to your day to day, and adjusts accordingly. It’s not a wound that needs to heal. But a barometer for your health
Your triggers are your prompts to take action
Excessive fight or flight is a scream for a shift
But only you get to explore the deeper meanings behind your responses and reactions
If you’re anxious, buzzing, always overwhelmed, it’s not your nervous system that needs to heal
It’s a shift from why is this happening to me, to where am I neglecting my needs, where am I overstretched and under-cared for? The answers are mind blowing. And when you find them and have those big shifting moments, your nervous system does something really amazing. It chills the F out. You feel safe, secure, joyful
Find the power to say, I can do this, I don’t need to make it complicated, I just need to sit back and watch and listen
