Highlights ….
Cheering for Ryder in his 300- PB, USPORTS standard and now ranked first in Canada! So super proud 👏👏👏
Basketball game with my bestie and her hubby, watching the Pandas play the Bisons. So fun watching you play Kin ⛹️‍♀️⛹️‍♀️.
Cheering Sairyn on at her first indoor track meet- shot put, 60m and High Jump. Fun seeing her enjoying this sport ☺️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️.
Coffee day and visit with girls who are more family than friends 😘😘 .
Support from friends, coaches and snuggles with 2 amazing pups- Penny of course and my boy Max xxoo 🐶🐶🐾🐾

Elise being home has been such a treat, so so grateful she came to visit this week!!
A walk with Penny to kick off the weekend- deer just around the corner from our house.

My heart has so many emotions….
Pride, excitement, panic, grief, happiness….repeat…
EB, you are one incredible girl and will be missed dearly.

May 31 was a happy day for our family celebrating Elise and her high school graduation❤️. Sadly, Sairyn’s foot got accid...

May 31 was a happy day for our family celebrating Elise and her high school graduation❤️.
Sadly, Sairyn’s foot got accidentally stepped on by a stilleto high heel that night and it has dominated our life since!
Air cast boot, crutches, pain, swelling, bruising, xray, 2 ultrasounds, a trip to children’s emergency department for blood work and re-assessment. MRI recommended and finally the answer for ongoing pain, swelling and inability to weigh bear….
Cellulitis. A serious tissue infection seen on MRI.
I’m a physio and knew that her foot looked worse than what the normal healing should look like. It never got better, only worse. More swelling. More bruising. More pain.
What I have learned in all of this… keep advocating for your health. Your kids health. If something is getting worse or doesn’t measure up, ask questions. Get help.
After hours of driving to appointments, sitting in the ER waiting room, paying for parking 🙄🤪, my girl is on the beginning of healing!! IV antibiotics followed by 10 days of oral meds.
Continuing to pray for her foot, her health, spirit and my fragile heart 🫣😉.
So so thankful for the amazing care we have in our city of Calgary at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Doctors and nurses are phenomenal ❤️
