Lift Smarter, Not Harder! 🏋️‍♂️
Lifting doesn’t have to strain your back it’s all about technique. Whether you’re picking up a box at work or lifting weights in the gym, these key tips help keep your spine safe and your muscles working efficiently:
🔹 Keep the load close to your body
🔹 Bend at your hips & knees, not your back
🔹 Engage your core as you lift
🔹 Avoid twisting while carrying weight
🔹 Use your legs - they’re stronger than your low back!
Small adjustments = big protection for your spine.
If lifting leaves you sore or uncertain, our physiotherapists can help assess your movement and teach proper mechanics.
