Due to the ongoing evacuation of community members from Kashechewan, the TTN Indigenous Midwifery Program would like to share that we are available to support pregnant and postpartum families currently staying in Cochrane. We recognize that displacement can be stressful, especially during pregnancy and early infancy, and we are committed to providing respectful, culturally safe midwifery care during this time.

πŸ“š New to our Lending Library

The Slow Moon Climbs: The Science, History, and Meaning of Menopause by Susan P. Mattern πŸŒ™

Menopause is not an ending. It’s a powerful transition that has been misunderstood, medicalized, and silenced for far too long. This book offers a thoughtful, grounded exploration of menopause across cultures, history, and biology, reminding us that this stage of life holds meaning, wisdom, and transformation.

We’re excited to add this title to our lending library for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of the menstrual life cycle, aging, and body literacy β€” whether you’re approaching menopause, supporting someone who is, or simply curious to learn more.
