A couple of days ago I was cleaning out the rabbit/rooster barn and the meat bird houses and got a blister on my thumb from the handles of the pitchfork and shovel. The blister hadnt broken so I put honey on the blister and some of my homemade hand lotion and bandaged it up. The next day doing dishes, the bandage came off and the blister was open and the skin came off but it wasnβt an open wound like normal. I put a plain bandage on just to cover and the next day you can hardly tell there was a blister except the redness on my thumb. Unpasturized honey works fantastic on cuts and blisters. It doesnβt have to be the expensive Manuka. Any unpasteurized will do. I use the Costco brand and have used it for 6 years giving up on polysporin completely. That stuff is useless compared to honey. I learned about unpasteurized honey from the Yukon Vet on tv years ago and have used it ever since!
