GUYS!!! These are the BEST buns I have ever made!! And they were quick to make! No rise time!! They look gorgeous and they’re just as delicious!! YUMMM!!

Attached is the recipe if you want to try it! I made 2 changes: honey instead of sugar and butter instead of vegetable oil (although you can substitute avacado oil as well).

YUMMY homemade hamburgers! I’ve made these burgers for YEARS and they’re always a hit!

Recipe:
1 pound of hamburger,
1 egg,
1 pouch of onion soup mix (you can use a 1/4 cup of fresh finely chopped onions if you prefer with a splash of Worcestershire sauce),
6 or 7 saltine crackers crushed with a rolling pin (place in a ziplock, remove the air and use a rolling pin to crush them on the counter),
Optional: About 1/8 to 1/4 of a cup of your favourite BBQ sauce or ketchup

Mix well, divide into 4 patties, coat with a little avacado oil with a pastry brush before putting them on the BBQ to stop them from sticking and yer done! 😋

Hints: weigh your mixed burger and divide into 4 for equal burgers. We have two the day I make them and refrigerate two for the next day or two.
Also, if you don’t have a patty maker, shape your burgers, flatten with the bottom of a plate then use your thumb or a spoon to make an indent in the middle on one side. This stops the burgers from puffing up in the center! 🙂

YUMMMM!! For lunch today I had a grilled cheese on whole wheat sourdough from my fresh home ground flour, delicious cheddar cheese, a little butter, a little salt, a few sprinkles of paprika and basil for a touch of extra flavour, and fried on med-low in my cast iron pan to add a little iron to my diet! Not pictured: I also had a clementine and an apple on the side 😋.

This is an excellent article!! So many nowadays are stressed to the max and this can be detrimental to your health. What you can do to decompress is:
1. Realize that the only thing you can control is yourself.
2. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to what happens.

So simple, yet so healthy and filling! Whole foods are so much better than boxed and bagged processed foods. Apple, clementine, onion, celery, peppers, mixed greens or spinach, bacon (or some other meat protein), avacado oil, red wine vinegar and salt and pepper. This huge bowl is about 500 calories and full of nutrients. And the basic dressing is surprisingly delicious! 😋

Does your house smell stuffy? Did you cook something with strong odours that just won’t go away? A great way to remove the odours is to “burp” your house once a day! Open all the interior doors in your house, then open a window or two and a front and back door to let the fresh air in and push the stale air out! This also helps remove the humidity to help stop mold and dust mites from producing. Do this at the warmest part of the day in winter and the cool of the day in summer if you use the air conditioner a lot. Fresh air is good for your health! ❤️
