✨ Cedar Events & Acupuncture is celebrating 8 years in practice and 5 years in the Shiloh clinic ✨

I’m hosting a gathering of stillness, movement, ritual, and gratitude. The day will begin with sound bath + optional acupuncture, flow into a lightly guided somatic dance journey, include creating a harvest-inspired keepsake, and close around the fire with warm cider, seasonal snacks, and shared intentions.

Each guest will also receive a special gift of gratitude to carry the energy forward.

This is more than an event — it’s a milestone, a celebration of community, and an invitation to pause, move, breathe, and give thanks together.

A common acupuncture question is, “how big are the needles?” In my practice as an RMT, I use needles that range from a fraction of a millimetre to 120 mm, though the most common are 30–40 mm. They’re all at a very small gauge (thickness) as well. A needle for drawing blood is usually about 0.80 mm, while an acupuncture needle is around 0.15 mm; that’s akin to a paperclip wire versus a thin hair. A huge difference in the sensory experience of each being inserted. This is why most people are surprised at how gentle and comfortable acupuncture feels compared to what they expect.
