We remember the thousands of lives lost at Residential schools, including 215 children who were found in an unmarked grave at the former Kamloops Residential School in Tk'emlúps te Secwe̓pemc’s community. We honour and remember those who never made it home, those who survived, and all those who are grieving. We all have a role to play in Reconciliation - to educate ourselves, acknowledge our biases and the legacy of colonialism - including the intergenerational impacts that continue today - and to support and celebrate First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples and communities.
