Hey everyone, if you are wondering if you should start yoga but are not sure which class is right for you, then keep reading. I teach three different styles of yoga; flow, yin and chair. Below is a description of what to expect in each class.
Flow yoga is designed to move our bodies into different poses to create strength, flexibility and generate circulation throughout our bodies. This is an energizing class but we always end the class with some delicious stretches and a meditating svasana (who knows you may have a short nap:). Sound interesting? Send me a message and you can try your first class on Monday at 4:15 pm free of charge.
Yin yoga is focused on lengthening and stretching our fascia and muscles. This class is relaxing and meditative. The poses can be challenging depending on your flexibility but the rewards are so beneficial. In weeks, with regular attendance, you will notice improvements in your flexibility and well being. Try out yin yoga on Thursday nights at 7 pm (first class is free).
Chair yoga is great for anyone with mobility issues, those looking for a gentle yoga class or if you sit at a desk all day. The gentle movements in a chair yoga class may seem easy but the benefits are numerous and who knows maybe some of the poses will challenge you after all. Check out chair yoga on Fridays at 10 am.
*Remember each class is through Zoom and all times are pacific time. Message me and I will send you the zoom link. I hope to see you soon!
