Another successful year of gardening comes to an end. Time to put the garden beds to rest for the winter. A nice layer of compost, followed by leaf mulch should keep the worms happy for the winter, and prepare us for spring! 😀

It's elderberry season! We have lots of berries ripening. Yummy Elderberry syrup is in our future... or maybe elderberry jelly...or elderberry pie!
What would you make?
We are happy to pick fresh berries for you to pick up! $8 per pound, on the stem.
We are also thinking of making up DIY elderberry syrup kits, for you to make at home. This kit would include herbs, fresh berries and local honey, along with instructions. Let us know if you would be interested! We would be open to doing pick your own berries for this as well, with booking in advance. 😊
