Once again on the Pilates train over here.

I promise the herb content is to return very soon - and better than ever. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes with .world to re-deliver rosewood and silver, and all that means back into the world in a more authentic way. So thank you for holding in there with me ♾️

But back to Pilates for now 〰️
After a beautiful five week intro series to teaching in collingwood - I will return again for the month of November, teaching Sunday evenings, and Monday & Tuesday mornings.

Please pre-register to guarantee yourself a spot (space is limited) but there will always be a couple drop in spots for the stragglers (Iykyk!)

What you can expect: exploration, transformed sense of body connection, sneaky challenges, community and (imo) great soundtracks.

I LOVE moving in community and helping others find a deeper connection to themselves and their bodies.

Okay friends, I know you’re probably following along here for the herb content - so bare with me.

With the many changes happening over here at Rosewood + Silver, will also come some slow shifts. While this will always be an ~ herbal ~ portal ~ I also want to invite in the other parts of my offerings to also offer more of myself (despite my ongoing discomfort with that). So, as my new website and online identity comes slowly into fruition (thank you .world for pulling this out of me and into the world), so will slow shifts from this just being a brand space, and more of an all encompassing space. So you can expect: herbs, nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine, consulting, education, events, movement practices and really…who knows what else!

I have been quiet, trying to find this new rhythm - but so much is happening behind the scenes, and I’m getting more and more eager to share it. Alas - for now, come move your bodies with me through a Pilates practice!

I completed my teacher training at in June, and am nearly completed my practice hours. So, seize the opportunity to bank on the discounted classes, move your body, get curious and flow with me into my favourite season.

Hi friends!

I recently completed my teacher training at in Toronto. It was an incredible, eye opening, humbling journey that I’m so excited to continue. As a part of my very comprehensive training I am to complete extensive training hours, where I teach both group and 1:1 classes.

Starting tomorrrow, every Tuesday in Thursday in July I will be teaching group classes at in collingwood! I am so excited to be working in this space, and offering my newly found knowledge and inspiration on ways we can move our bodies in a way that is mindful, explorative, challenging and playful. Plus my playlists are a labour of love.

C H A N G E S!

You may have ( or may not have) noticed that things have been very quiet over here. While I’m not the most prolific instagram person, I’ve admittedly been extra quiet. Just riding the wave ~~~

Behind the scenes, things are *happening*!

We are about to move out of our beautiful collingwood studio after five years of having it as our nest. So many amazing things have happened in this space - workshops, events, friendships, creation, treatments, breakthroughs, breakdowns, laughs and cries. It’s been an amazing container for the first five years of launching a business into this world. It’s been validating, humbling and vital for me to spread my wings in an industry that can sometimes feel so isolating and overwhelming. Being able to have a space in the historic downtown of my hometown made me joyous and proud in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. Letting go of it was profoundly hard, but all great relationships come to an end, and when you know, you know. Shout out to my lovely friend and studio mate over the last year. Her support as a friend and colleague has made everything infinitely better.

Rosewoods wholesaling has continued to grow and expand, and so have our offerings. In the background we’re working on a complete rebrand- new identity, website and way of showing up. I’m expanding the identity to include all of the offerings I have to share - consulting, treatments, herbal education, movement practices and products! Soon we will no longer be presenting solely as a product line, and actually as a container for me (as uncomfy as it is!) and all of the “wellness” branches that expand within that framework.

So, I guess this is to say, thanks for following along! Thanks for staying here, even when I’m transitioning and shifting and flowing. And thanks to the collingwood community for embracing me in all the ways you have. Come visit me in the countryside, where I’ll be given more time to tend to the herbs, less time driving, and more time and energy to create amazing offerings for all of you!

I can’t wait to share the new iteration of Rosewood to you all!

Solid ♾️ Ground

Our immune ally! She’s been slowing becoming a fan favourite. Definitely on the savoury side, with immune allies like thyme, reishi and ginger - it has an almost culinary quality to it. The astragalus brings some sweetness, while the elecampane some bitter. Echinacea ties it all together with a sprinkle of skullcap to help with tension, anxiety and lethargy associated with coming down with something.

This is great for people who want to prevent sickness, boost their immune (except maybe for those with auto immune, let’s work with a clinical herbalist for you!) and create a general solid ground. It’s tasty, it’s grounding, it’s a weighted blanket in a cup. Add a dab of manuka or raw honey, and you’re really covering your bases.
