1️⃣Accessibility
Train anywhere in the world with a wifi signal and a bit of space. I often travel with my clients in this way as they will continue their training while they're away due to this benefit.

2️⃣Convenience
There's something to be said about the benefits of saving on time, commuting, and planning to get to the gym. Especially in the colder months, my clients appreciate the convenience of their fitness program coming straight to their home in this capacity.

3️⃣Independance
Virtual training does build a different kind of muscle than that of in-person training. Because I can't be there physically to help with touch queuing or release work, my clients become very skilled, themselves, at managing their bodies.

4️⃣ Minimalism
You really don't need a lot of equipment to make continued progress towards pain-free stronger movement. Many of my clients only have dumbbells, a Swiss ball and bands and yet get exposed to a variety of exercises and methods to keep them engaged and progressing.

5️⃣Cost
I can't speak for other trainers or coaches, but my virtual training rates are less than my in-person rates, and yet my knowledge, my programming, and my attention remain of the highest value. My clients are often surprised at how quickly I can troubleshoot issues as they come up, despite the physical distance.

My clients' structural alignment is something I'm always aware of because it influences my decision making.

My goal is to help my clients achieve their goals, all while creating better balance in their bodies so they become more resilient and deal with less physical pain in their lives. I do my best to educate and empower them through that process so they begin to understand better self-care practices for their unique needs.

It doesn't matter if my clients are working with me in-person, virtually, or through online programming, as my approach will always come from a knowingness that structure matters.

Exercises, like variations of the Paloff Press, are excellent for engaging and strengthening the lateral line.

This important Fascial line stabilizes the body, especially during lateral movement. It can also help bring better balance to, both, the anterior and posterior chains, contributing to more structural balance.

My clients all work their lateral line throughout their programs, and those who are involved in rotational dominant sports, notice the positive impact it has on their performance and mitigating potential injury.

How low should you squat?

As low as your particular body and circumstances allow. In powerlifting, depth matters, relative to the sport's standards, but outside of that, the depth of your squat doesn't matter that much. Sure, it's great to increase the range because that increases your potential but not everyBODY has the same structure for depth. Your femur length really matters in this case as the longer they are, the more you'll need to lean forward and sacrifice depth. Ankle mobility is also a huge factor here, as I'll need a great deal of it.

When my clients squat, I make sure they're in appropriate ranges for their bodies and needs 💪🏻

It's with great pleasure that I present to you my newest 20-page eBook! Oh...and it's FREE!

In this short read, I share my unique approach to training and, specifically, how it can help you address the pain you might be experiencing. I write about my own experience, dealing with years of pain myself, and how my training approach really developed from finding my own path to stronger, pain-free movement.

You'll learn valuable concepts that my services embody and how, by practicing them, you too can move beyond pain and reach whichever goal you'd like to achieve!

Please feel free to share this with anyone you might know who's been living in pain, or someone who might resonate with approach in reaching their fitness goals.

Enjoy!

My coaching approach blends training and therapy together.

In-person, I'll use a combination of different modalities, hands-on and guided, to help a client unravel old patterns and develop new, stronger, and more efficient ones.

Virtually, I'll do the same, but will skillfuly guide my client though any release work, so they can receive similar quality of results.

Generally speaking, people come to me wanting to get stronger so they can overcome some kind of obstacle in their life. Most of the time, it's pain.

By combining therapies with training, I'm able to interact more closely with the pain patterns they're experience and help them, literally, move away and out of them.

Pain doesn't have to hold you back from starting! In fact, it can offer an incredible amount of incentive to get started, if you know that it will be addressed concurrently.
