A new hospital doesn’t take shape all at once. It’s built through years of planning, teamwork, and steady progress.

We’re excited to launch Building Tomorrow, our Hospital Development video series, highlighting the people, purpose, and progress behind South Georgian Bay’s future hospital.

In the first video, our team shares what’s coming up in 2026 and what they’re most looking forward to as the project continues to take shape.

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is excited to welcome the first baby of 2026!

Baby Noah arrived at 1:22 a.m. on January 1, weighing 7 lbs, 4 oz, bringing New Year joy to proud parents Rosalia D’Angelo and Gregory Bullock.

Our CGMH team extends heartfelt congratulations to the entire family. Welcoming a new life is always a special moment, and we’re honoured to share in celebrating Noah’s arrival with our community. 💙

This December, CGMH has been full of joy and connection! From building gingerbread houses to visits with Santa, showing off our best ugly sweaters, and learning about holiday traditions with a local Rabbi, our team embraced the season in so many ways. We also gave back to our community through toy, coat, and food drives.

The most joyful news of all? The influenza outbreak is officially over, and visitors are once again welcome – allowing patients to spend this special time of year surrounded by loved ones.

We’re grateful for our community and look forward to continuing to support health, connection, and care in the New Year!

This year’s theme, “Tomorrow’s YOU is Built TODAY,” encourages our healthcare staff to prioritize their personal well-being and growth as they enter the new year. Please note that booths may not include items for sale or services with associated fees.

If you are interested in having a booth, please contact Stephenie Armstrong at armstrongs@cgmh.on.ca by December 8, 2025. CGMH will be in touch with those selected to move forward in the process.
