Keeping the Nurses Week momentum going as we honour Sue Ireland 💙

We are proud to celebrate one of our residents, Sue Ireland, and her incredible career in nursing.

Sue dedicated more than 40 years to caring for others, including 32 years at Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston. Her nursing journey also took her across Canada and the United States through travel nursing, where she brought her skill, compassion, and dedication to many different communities.

Throughout her career, Sue specialized in cardiac care, obstetrics, medicine, and surgery. In her final five years as a nurse, she provided palliative home care, offering comfort and support to individuals and families during some of life’s most meaningful moments.

Thank you, Sue, for your years of service, compassion, and care. Your dedication has touched so many lives, and we are honoured to celebrate you at Living Water Retirement Residence. 💙

At Living Water Retirement Residence, we see that spirit of care every day, including through our Executive Director, Monica, who is also a nurse and brings her experience, leadership, and compassion to our community.

We were honoured to welcome Mayor Yvonne Hamlin for a special plaque presentation recognizing the opening of Living Water Retirement Residence.

This milestone represents more than the completion of a new residence. It reflects our continued commitment to creating a warm, supportive, and connected community for seniors in Collingwood.
