monday morning message: ‘when the waves come crashing, we must learn how to ride them’ - the take away from this for me is that life can be unpredictable, i may encounter some rough waters from time to time (and they may destroy some sandcastles), but i can also choose to learn to trust my ability to make it through and grow from whatever it may be...and i can build new sandcastles...maybe i needed the tide to wash the old one away to realize how it was not serving me or growing me, but was merely a form of protection that i had built up around myself

it’s interesting watching this video of my practice in october and thinking about how different the things i am currently working on in my practice are from then... regardless of the challenges, mental and/or physical, i face in my practice (that are constantly changing) i am so fascinated by, and forever grateful for the continuous learning experience - in my body, in my mind, in my soul, in my life - that this practice gives me access to. ***video got removed because of copyright infringement so i just used one of my own songs haha
