We’re deeply disheartened to have to address this, but due to a recent public post unfairly targeting our clinic, we feel it’s important to set the record straight and protect our community from unnecessary confusion.
First and foremost: there is no need to question the validity of your gift certificate unless it was issued for a specific practitioner who is no longer part of our team.
In the situation being publicly misrepresented, the certificate was purchased in 2019 for a massage with a therapist who hasn’t worked with us in over five years. All of our Registered Massage Therapists are independent contractors, which means the therapist was paid at the time of sale—and that certificate was not transferable, did not include a dollar value, and is now six years old.
This is not about expiry. It’s about clarity, and we’re sorry that a personal frustration has led to public misinformation and unfair accusations against our clinic.
Our team—made up of dedicated, self-employed healthcare professionals—shows up every day with the sole goal of helping people feel better. To see their work and integrity questioned publicly over a unique and outdated situation is truly discouraging.
We always welcome respectful dialogue and are more than willing to talk directly with anyone who has questions. But spreading false claims and encouraging others not to access care here doesn’t help anyone.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern—we’re proud of the care we offer and the community we serve. 🤍
