Final Day — Bruce & Bernice

Married 38 years.
Deeply in sync.
Still opinionated.

Bernice spent her career leading rooms that weren’t built for her.
Bruce made sure she never had to do it alone.

Coffee is their long-weekend ritual.
Actually every weekend is a long weekend for Bruce and Bernice, but you get the point.
Same table if it’s free.
Same order, always. The menu is a formality the no longer bother with.

Bernice wears from France — bold, sculptural, unapologetically confident.
Bruce chose — Italian design crafted from Japanese titanium — precise, lightweight, dependable.

They discovered blink later in life and immediately wished it had existed decades earlier.

After coffee, they walk to for groceries. Family Day means dinner at home.

She chooses the menu.
He navigates the aisles.
They debate dessert like it’s a formal negotiation.

They leave with everything they need — plus something unnecessary but excellent.

Some couples grow quieter with time.
Bruce & Bernice just grew more certain.

Some people spent the long weekend traveling.
Others stayed close to home.

Coffee dates.
Treasure hunts.
Wellness mornings.
Slow dinners.
Ordinary moments that turned into stories.

Thank you for spending the weekend with our little cast of characters ❤️

Now we have to ask —
Who was your favourite?
Which frames stole the show?
And should this series return next long weekend…?

Seen around town. Styled at blink.

Day 4 — Frankie & Cleo

Best friends and expert treasure hunters since high school.

Today’s objective: a full vintage crawl.
No treasures left behind.

Both in their signature red sunglasses — completely different styles, equally committed.

Frankie’s are bold and theatrical from
Cleo’s are sharp enough to double as a warning from

Together, they look like they know exactly where to go.

First stop:
Susan and Nicole already knew they were coming.

Something had been set aside.

A garment bag is unzipped.

Inside: a vintage fur with unmistakable aristocratic heiress energy — deep, dramatic, unapologetically grand.

Frankie slips it on.
It fits like it had been waiting for her.

She looks at Cleo over the top of her oversized red sunglasses.

“Someone has to take it home.”

Susan and Nicole don’t argue with her logic.

Frankie leaves wearing the fur.

Next stop:

Tight corners. Unstable stacks. Glass everywhere.

Cleo asks if the fur is practical for browsing fragile items.

Frankie says it’s essential.

Cleo finds a ceramic panther she insists is tasteful — perfect for displaying a rotating collection of hats.

The panther is carefully packed up.

At in Clarksburg, they slow down.

It’s the kind of place where the best things reveal themselves quietly.

Cleo finds something small and perfect.
Frankie finds something odd and wonderful.

Both claim they’re only buying one item.

No one believes this.

They stop to see Tina at

Cleo finds another hat — one she insists will balance the collection she now has planned for the ceramic panther.

Frankie acquires a sequinned blazer she says will “go with everything.”

Carrying more than they intended, they make one last stop at

Frankie, now slightly overheated in her new coat, immediately appreciates the warmth and serenity of the cozy studio.

They leave with coffee table books and refined treasures to round out the day.

If you see two women in red sunglasses moving through town with purpose…

It’s already too late.

Day 4 -

She didn’t grow up here.
But she grew into herself here.

Collingwood isn’t where she’s from — it’s where she became.

She has loved. She has let go. She has stayed soft anyway.

Her friends — the ones who showed up with takeout, stayed too late, made her laugh when she didn’t feel like it — carried her through the years that shaped her. She knows she needs people. She never pretends otherwise.

But she also learned something quieter:

She is good company, too.

A few weeks ago, she cut her hair — just enough to release the version of herself she had outgrown, she knew that Grace would give her the transformation she needed.

Then she walked into blink and chose something that felt unmistakably like her.

Bold frames in a deep, luminous blue.
Architectural. Thoughtful. Impossible to overlook.

Only one hundred of these were made for the entire world.

Not because she needed something rare —
but because she recognized herself in something that refused to be ordinary.

This Valentine’s Day, she’s caring for the life she built.

A reset was the next self care experience she wanted and treated herself to with zero guilt. She loves the owner Carey, and a visit with her always ends with not only exceptional skin, but deep soulful laughs too.

Next she went and purchased exquisite lingerie from even if no one else will see it.

Because romance didn’t leave her life.
It just changed direction.

Tonight, Margo slips onto a barstool .seven.nine orders a filthy martini, and sits beneath that impossibly beautiful chandelier, perfectly at ease in a room full of couples.

She isn’t waiting for a grand gesture.
She became one.

Later, she’ll go home, slip into an old university band tee, pour a white wine spritzer from a box she keeps in the fridge, and text the group chat that has been her real love story all along.

Her name is Margo. No T.

Day 3 - Meet Theo & Marco.

Collingwood locals.
Grew up skiing together.
Still argue about who was better.

Theo is the planner.
Books the wellness sessions.
Owns linen shirts and actually steams them.

He chose a crystal frame with green lenses from — very JFK-on-holiday energy. Clean, classic, quietly confident.

Marco is the spontaneous one.
Knows everyone. Or at least acts like he does.
Cannot walk down the street without stopping to say hello.

He says he “just grabbed whatever looked good.”

He chose a perfect aviator from

Golden. Timeless. Effortless. The kind of frame that suggests he always knows where the sun will hit first.

They both value wellness.
They both value style.
They will never admit how much they value each other’s approval.

Long weekend plan?

First stop: .ca

Theo has mapped out the session — infrared, Somadome, something involving frequencies that Marco politely pretends to understand.

Marco steps out and says,
“I feel like a very calm astronaut.”

Theo nods. “That’s the point.”

They leave glowing, hydrated, and slightly more relaxed than when they arrived.

Next stop:

Sunglasses stay on. Sun is out and vibes are perfect.

Marco waves to two people on the way in.
Theo asks if he actually knows them.
Marco says, “Not yet.”

They order a couple of beers and pizza from

And then it begins.

Pineapple: yes or no?
Marco says yes. Immediately.
Theo says absolutely not and looks personally offended.

They debate like this is a matter of civic importance.

No resolution is reached.

What is clear:

The frames are working.

Crystal frames catching the late afternoon light.
Aviators making everything feel just a little more cinematic.

Vintage silhouettes. Modern men.
Wellness booked. Pizza ordered. Long weekend secured.

✨ Good friends. Good beer. Great sunglasses.

Day 2. Meet Judy.
(Formerly Moody Judy. We’ve retired that name.)

Judy is 68. Recently retired elementary school teacher.
Professional lemon loaf maker.
Part-time towel folder, full-time kitten cuddler at

She lives in a cozy bungalow with her rescue cat, Marigold — who sheds like it’s her job and believes 4:00 p.m. dinner is non-negotiable.

This winter? It’s too long.
Grey. Spiritually beige.

So Judy walked into blink and said,
“I need colour. Something that says I’m not done being interesting.”

Enter and a slightly audacious orange frame.

She put them on.
Paused.
“Oh dear,” she said.
“I love them.”

Today is Judy’s first Official Orange Day 🍊

First stop: and .ca to visit Andrea and say hello to Charlie, the shop dog (who immediately approves — excellent taste, Charlie) 🐕

Judy stands in front of a bold abstract painting, tilts her head
thoughtfully, and nods like she absolutely understands it.

Does she? Not entirely.
Does she feel fabulous? Completely.

Next stop:
Because when you commit to orange glasses, you order the delicious thing. The colourful bowl with the sauce she can never remember. The joyful lunch. She finishes with a slice of carrot cake because it matches her new look.

By the time she heads home, winter hasn’t won.

Moody Judy is gone.

Now she’s Gallery-Visiting, Humane-Society-Volunteering,
Lemon-Loaf-Legend Judy.

Day 1 - meet Eloise. She’s a voracious reader and plans to spend the long weekend at home diving into a stack of new books. She’s into the classics, but like her gorgeous frames, she appreciates a little edge to her look.

She’s going to hit up ALL the bookstores she can from Meaford to Creemore.
She’ll start her journey in Meaford with , she figures while she’s there she’ll say hi to her friend Emily who is one of the owners of .beer and get some adult beverages to go with her new books.

Next Eloise makes her way to Thornbury to visit and for some long weekend treats to go with her reading.

The slight tint in her glasses helps with the winter glare as Eloise makes her way into Collingwood to check out when is going to open and makes a mental note to stop in to check out their new space soon.

Her journey continues to Nottawa to visit the whimsical , her book bag is starting to overflow but she’s got one more stop to make.

Last but not least, Eloise arrives in Creemore to to congratulate the new owners and finish her book buying spree. By this time she’s worked up a good visa bill, and a hefty thirst. She strolls over to for something special by the glass 🥂 and picks up a bottle or two to enjoy at home.

Eloise is thrilled by her book buying spree and can’t wait to check out of reality (who wouldn’t these days 🙄) and escape into the world of literature.
