Our Summer Newsletter is out! Click to read more about upcoming fertility groups, schedule updates, resources we love, and some summer self care tips.

As the days grow longer and the weather softens, there can be an invitation to slow down a little too. To step outside, take a deeper breath, and notice what it feels like to move through this season with a bit more gentleness. I hope this warmer season offers moments of rest, connection, and space....

Today would have been my dad’s 76th birthday. I share this not for sympathy but to normalize the subtle and not-so-subtle ways grief shows up in our lives

My dad has been gone a few years. I have moved through my my grief in so many ways but I still find myself longing to bake him a cake today. So that we can bond over our shared love of baking while listening to Neil Young and celebrating his birthday.

Grief never really goes away but our life grows around it. So here’s to you, dad.

Maybe it’s rest.
Maybe it’s movement
Maybe it’s space to cry.
Maybe it’s support.
Maybe it’s a softer expectation of yourself.
Mindfulness isn’t about forcing calm.
Sometimes it’s just learning to listen to yourself with compassion.

What a beautiful idea.

What a beautiful idea.

A beautiful Wind Phone has been added to Courtenay Cemetery.

The Wind Phone is not connected to a phone line. It offers a quiet and symbolic place where visitors can speak to loved ones they have lost, pause in reflection or spend a private moment in remembrance.

Inspired by the original Wind Phone in Otsuchi, Japan, Wind Phones have become meaningful places for grief and connection in communities around the world.

Visitors are welcome to use the Wind Phone respectfully during cemetery hours.
