After weeks of noise, gatherings, and holiday expectations, it’s okay to feel tired, foggy, or low.

This isn’t failure - it’s your nervous system asking for regulation and routine.

You can help this by returning to your routine and allowing quiet, introspective time after the bustle of the holidays.

Have you found solace in the return to routine in the New Year?

From all of us at Nourish Wellness: wishing you presence, peace, and a soft start to the year!

As we step into a new year, remember that you don’t need to reinvent yourself overnight. Choose gentleness. Choose compassion.

Choose connection. Small, caring habits, supported by community, can make the year ahead feel lighter and more grounded.

Connection

From

Quite simply we are wired for it
To be accepted
to belong

Our whole nervous system
and the way it functions
feels safest
when we are

No matter our age
When we don’t feel connected
we just don’t cope as well

Connection with others takes courage
It can feel risky
and it needs you to be friends with yourself first..

If you’re feeling shame, fear, or loneliness creeping in
your nervous system is saying
“I need a little more connection to feel safe”

So begin there..
Today
What beautiful, brave step can you take toward creating more connection in your life?

Maybe start by reconnecting with your best friend…

Yourself

The person who is always with you and has your back
and loves you the most

✨ Happy Solstice ✨ As we turn back towards the light, the days may be colder but connection with others can help create your own own path to the light.

Whether through shared activities (festive or not), therapy, or simply showing up for one another, connection can help us navigate the season with softness and strength.

We hope you enjoy celebrating a wonderful and renewing Solstice ✨⭐️💫

Winter feels lighter when we don’t carry it all by ourselves. We encourage you to reach out to your support network, join a group, attend a winter market or take a class.

Community doesn’t erase the cold, but it can help us feel held through it.

How have you connected with your community this month so far? ✨

The holidays can be heavy when you’re grieving. If you’re missing someone this season, please know there’s no “right” way to feel. You’re allowed to embrace memories, set boundaries, skip traditions, or create new ones that support your heart.

Grief and joy can exist together and connecting with community can help hold the weight. Be gentle with yourself. You’re not alone.

If you’re experiencing grief and looking to connect with a compassionate therapist, book now on our website (link in bio ✨)

A friendly smile at the gas pump. A conversation with a stranger in line. A familiar face at a local spot. These tiny moments of connection throughout our day can shift our mood more than we realize.

This winter, we encourage you to make room for the small connections that can have a big impact.

Have you had any interactions that have warmed your heart lately? Tell us in the comments ⬇️

Even in the cold, dark months, warmth grows where people gather. A phone call check-in, a walk by the sea with a friend, a shared cup of hot tea. Connection is one of the strongest forms of self-care this season.

What do you like to do for connection in these winter months? ❄️✨
