It’s that time of year again πŸ‚ where we naturally want to slow down, ground, and rest. The fall is a transitional season from the fiery Yang energy of the summer to the watery Yin energy of the winter. It is a time of letting go and shedding all that is no longer serving us. Join me for this yoga series to release stagnation and invite in more spaciousness.

This gentle and meditative practice aims to support your Autumn with nourishing Yin stretches, breath work and mindfulness preparing you for deep restorative rest. Alannah is an RMT, yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner & Traditional Chinese Medicine student

She is a multi-passionate practitioner who is here to help guide you back to your physical and energetic body through therapeutic touch, energy alchemy, and guided embodiment. As a Registered Massage Therapist, her sessions are a unique weaving of techniques such as Craniosacral, Swedish massage, and Trigger Point Release/Acupressure which encourages you to deeply relax, feel relief, and allow for your nervous system to shift into a receptive and easeful state. She targets the physical imbalances within your body's holding patterns and offers a more holistic approach in facilitating each session as an inward journey, creating a safe, calming, and intentional space for you to return to the subtle communications and messages stored deep within your tissues.

✨Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy prioritizes bringing the Nervous System back into balance. Once we are in a regulated and relaxed state, deeper healing and unwinding can happen. We are trusting the intelligence of the body, that it knows what it’s ready to let go of and resolve. The healing power of relational touch and presence is profound. It’s amazing what can occur when we feel safe, held and witnessed.

✨As an RMT, I combine Craniosacral with Massage Therapy. The manual work helps to release tension and promote grounding and embodiment, preparing the body to surrender into the subtle energetics of Craniosacral Therapy.

Many of us spend much of our days tending to the needs of others. In order to be able to continue to serve we must have practices in place to nurture ourselves. This class is a chance to honour the Self by

✨ Returning to the body and realigning with the breath

✨ Opening the energy channels to release stagnation and promote vitality

✨ Attuning to the fertile nature of the springtime and the potentiality for growth and new beginnings

✨ Remembering the importance of stillness and deep rest

This β€˜Gentle Flow into Yin’ class is a an β€˜all levels/no yoga experience necessary’ class. We will intuitively move with our breath and allow our bodies sensations to guide us into deeply nourishing stretches. There are still a few spots open. Email rmt@caelagillies.com to secure your spot!

We are moving from the most Yin time of year (Winter) to the most Yang time of year (Summer). The Spring is a beautiful dance between Yin and Yang. Light and Dark. Movement and Stillness. As the light re-emerges may we intuitively find our way back to Movement while also remembering the importance of Stillness.

This Gentle Flow into Yin series is here to nurture your Spring Awakening and honour this time of rebirth and new beginnings. We will slowly flow with our bodies and breath to get the chi circulating and ease our way into deeply nourishing Yin stretches.

When we attune to the energy of the Winter, this deeply nourishing Yin time gives us the energy and vision needed to re-emerge with vibrancy and inspiration
