I recently noticed that I have been seeing more people with disease in the last 5 years than in all the years since I first started in private practice. It wasn’t my imagination. The occurrence of celiac disease rose more than 6.2% between 2015 and 2020.

Celiac rates are rising in Canada and diagnostic delays are stalling recovery. Accurate screening is the first step and one I can help with.

About Me

I am Joy Kiddie, an experienced Vancouver area Registered Dietitian.

I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences at McGill University and received my Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from University of British Columbia in 2008.

I worked for a while in industry as a Registered Dietitian, but my real passion and the reason I went into Dietetics was to help individuals restore their health. In 2008, I started my private practice and have been working in it full time for almost a decade.

I’m registered with the Colleges of Dietitians of British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario and am a long-standing member of Dietitians of Canada (DC). I speak both English and French and am listed in the Réso Santé Colombie-Britannique, a directory of French-speaking health professionals.
