Owned and operated for over 27 years by Dr. Alan Nicholson, Austin Heights Optometry Clinic has been well known and well loved by the tri-city area communities and the surrounding cities of the lower mainland. Dr. Nicholson first started practicing in Coquitlam in 1988 after graduating from the University of Waterloo. He started his own practice about 3 years later in 1991 and has since become a local favorite. In 2007, Dr. Christine Wang joined his practice; she graduated with Dean’s honors (Magna Cum Laude) in Doctors of Optometry from the Ohio State University, as well as earned a bachelor in Science at UBC. The doctors, along with their knowledgeable staff are able to assist in all aspects of vision care, such as; complete eye examinations, contact lens training and fittings, minor and emergency examinations, frame/lens selection and much more. Our doctors also refer out to many qualified, reputable specialists in the lower mainland should they find it necessary. The staff at our clinic are trained to help you with booking your appointments at your convenience, assisting you in finding the most comfortable and stylish pair of glasses best suited to your prescription, and any questions/concerns you may have. Our patients are of utmost importance to us and we strive to provide them with the best care possible.
