Say it with us: MODIFY! 🙌

Squat > calf raise > step out = your burpee’s kinder, gentler cousin.

This version is easier on sore knees (no pounding jump or jarring landings) but still builds strength, stability, and endurance.

Remember: modifying movements isn’t weakness. It’s smart training.

It’s about meeting yourself where you are *today*… and building strength, confidence and endurance over time.

Because guess what? The full burpee will always be there and you can always progress to the full burpee when your body is truly ready.

You’ve never been told these 4 pelvic floor tricks…and they *might* just be the missing link in actually feeling what’s going on down there 💃

Most people think “just squeeze” when it comes to pelvic floor exercises… but without the right mental imagery, it can be reaaaaaaally hard to know if you’re even doing it right 🤷‍♀️

Here’s where these cues come in:

🎈 Balloons – Imagine a small balloon inside your pelvis. Exhale, lift it up gently (don’t pop it!!)
🌸 Flowers – Think of your pelvic floor as petals. Inhale to open, exhale to close.
🍏🥤 Straw & Apple – Picture sipping an apple up through a straw deep in your core.
🪼 Jellyfish – Inhale as it drifts down, exhale as it glides up.

These are some of our pelvic health physios’ go-to cues for helping you really feel that pelvic floor engage, release, and connect 🙌
