📣 October Striver or the Month: David!!!! 🥳

Read David’s story:
“In May 2020 I was in a life altering motorcycle accident. Broken
tibia, crushed fibula, as well as back and shoulder mobility issues. What i hoped
to achieve after my injury was to get back to work and normal life in approx 6
weeks of treatment and to keep my mobility 3 weeks after my accident.
However due to a non union of fibula and complications resulted in having to have
multiple surgeries and setbacks. I continued treatment as pain got to be
unbearable. I had the support of the team, Carly Katie, Rob, Aaron, Leandra and Nikki
encouraging me not to stop treatment or therapy.

The biggest win i got was after hip surgery being able to
walk, bend, and reach an overall mobility improvement. Having my life back.
The total support of the staff was amazing, and without them encouraging
me, supporting throughout the 5.5 years I don’t think I would have come
out the other end. I feel I owe my recovery solely to the staff of
Strive!! I don’t know how to pay back such help and encouragement!!
To stay with my recovery took all my heart and soul. But with the staff’s
help, I made it through and will be forever grateful 🙏.
I can now enjoy my motorcycle, my life and back to work pain free. I have
some muscle soreness but due to not using some for so long. A small
price to pay.
Advice I can give to others is never give up and listen to the staff
they are amazing and do what they say. Life does get better and we do
recovery to the best of our ability!”
