If you’re looking for a little wabi sabi, this practice gets it 🤌

Brahmari (Bumblebee Breath) isn’t about silencing the mind.
It’s about letting the mind sound the way it actually feels.

Some days the breath is steady.
Some days it wobbles.
Some days the hum feels soothing.
Some days it feels awkward.

And none of that is wrong.

Brahmari works on the nervous system by stimulating the vagus nerve, which helps the body downshift without forcing calm or control.

That’s the beauty of it.
It accepts the wabi sabi of the mind.

If you’ve been craving a yoga practice that feels human, not a contest, our intro offer is the easiest place to start.

$59 for one month of unlimited yoga.
No pressure. No commitment.

Notes from the yoga group chat 💬

• Don’t pigeonhole yourself into one class. Yoga isn’t one thing, and neither are you. Different teachers, styles, and vibes meet you differently, your body will tell you what it needs that day.

• There isn’t a single “beginner class.” Beginner doesn’t mean weak, and advanced doesn’t mean better. It just means today.

• One class a week helps you maintain. Two builds familiarity. Three creates momentum. Four deepens things fast, but the best frequency is the one that fits your life without pressure.

• The infrared heat? Cozy, supportive, never punishing. Think warm and nourishing, not intense-for-the-sake-of-it.

Most people come to yoga for the physical benefits…
and stay because they feel calmer, clearer, and more themselves.

That’s why yoga has lasted thousands of years.

If you’ve been curious about starting, our Intro Offer is the easiest way in.

POV: you were not emotionally prepared for that cue 😮‍💨

There’s nothing wrong with strength.
But when yoga constantly feels like bracing, gripping, or surviving… your body stops listening.

At Jai Yoga, we still build strength…just without rushing the nervous system.

Side Plank: love it or immediate regret?

Here’s what’s actually happening:

🔸 Your nervous system is overstimulated, not unmotivated
🔸 Constant high-intensity movement keeps you in stress mode
🔸 Recovery is what builds energy…not more pushing

Once you understand this, everything changes.

If you’ve been curious about yoga but didn’t want pressure or commitment, we have an intro offer:

$59 for one month of unlimited yoga.

2025 asked a lot of us.

In 2026, I’m choosing depth.
Small groups.
Meaningful experiences.
Places that feel like home.

I grew up in Ireland, and this retreat is something I’ve wanted to offer for a long time.
It’s intimate, intentional, and not a tourist experience.

If Ireland is calling you, comment IRELAND and I’ll send you the details.

So many yoga retreats are beautifully planned…
and quietly exhausting.

This one is intentionally different.

One place.
One small group.
Enough yoga to support you.. not deplete you.

Comment EMERALD and I’ll send you the details for our Ireland yoga retreat. 🍀
This will sell out quickly.

Rush culture didn’t come from nowhere.

It came from productivity being tied to worth.
From time becoming money.
From bodies being treated like machines.

And somehow, even yoga got caught in it.

More poses.
More sweat.
More doing.

But faster doesn’t mean better.
And exhausted doesn’t mean evolved.

At Jai Yoga, we practice differently.
We make space for slowness.
For listening.
For moving at the pace your body actually needs.

If you’re curious what unrushed movement feels like,
Comment INTRO and let’s get started with some real yoga.

No pressure.
Just presence.

Hopping on this trend too, I guess! Here’s our 2016.

This was a BIG year for Jai and I. And it was an amazing year.

In April, 2016 Jai and I (14 months after our wedding) finally began to live together. Jai moved to Canada and we spent the entire year living it up. We became tourists in Canada together, exploring as much as we could and learning as much as we can about our new home country together.

But it was also a pretty challenging year too. Getting settled in a new country is not for the faint hearted. But time is a funny thing. Ten years later the happier memories are much louder than the struggles. I do know this, it was the struggles of 2016 that began to plant the seeds for Jai Yoga much later in 2019. For that, I’m utterly grateful. Here’s to many more years with each other, with Jai Yoga and the beautiful Jai Yoga community. We love you all ❤️

Sometimes “sorry” isn’t enough.

You can apologize.
You can promise to do better.
You can mean it with your whole heart.

But real healing usually needs something embodied.
Movement. Breath. Consistency. Care.

That’s why when life feels bent out of shape, I don’t overthink it.

I take it to yoga 🤍

If you’ve been wanting to start (or restart) your practice, comment INTRO and I’ll send you details on our intro offer.

My ins and outs for 2026 🤍

This year I’m choosing self-trust over explanation, support over pressure, and movement that actually feels good — in my body and in my life.

Yoga taught me a lot of this, but it goes way beyond the mat now.

I’m curious —
what’s one thing you’re bringing into 2026, and one thing you’re leaving behind?
