🌿 We’re thrilled to welcome Max Edwards, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner - DOMP, to Dovira Care Integrative Health Clinic! 🌿
Max joins us as an Osteopath and long-time health & wellness professional with a deeply personal journey into osteopathy.
After beginning his career in business, Max pivoted in 2004 to pursue his passion for fitness, becoming a Personal Trainer Level 3 and later managing elite health clubs in West End London. But it was his own experience with chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain — and the remarkable relief he found through osteopathy — that changed everything.
Osteopathy didn’t just ease his physical pain; it helped calm his nervous system and realign his entire sense of wellness. Inspired by this transformation, Max committed to studying osteopathy himself.
Fast-forward to today, he holds a DOMP from the National Academy of Osteopathy, is First Aid & CPR certified, a member of BCAOMP, and this year completes a 700-hour Bodywork Therapy Diploma at the Vancouver School of Healing Arts.
His expanding skillset includes Shiatsu, Reflexology, Ayurvedic Head Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Hydrotherapy, Sports Massage, and Hot Stone Massage — all integrated into his hands-on, whole-body approach.
Since moving to BC in 2022, Max has embraced the mountains, the community, and a lifestyle rooted in movement, balance, and mind-body-spirit exploration. His mission is simple:
